Casa Salcana is an impressive farming property located in the heart of Baronía de Rialb.
Contemplating the natural spectacle of the area of Baronía de Rialb while enjoying the peacefulness that a real farm house offers, Casa Salcana does not only provide for rural accommodation but also invites you to see its history.
This property with a capacity of 16 people, is surrounded by forests and nature. It has a big garden with a swimming pool from where you can have a view to the Roman church and the castle nearby. In fact, Casa Salcana is situated at the foot of the castle, in close proximity to the remains of Montmagastre that are still kept for its namesake.
The property is structured in three levels. Entering the house from the garden, you will find a big living room area with armchairs and sofas, a wonderful fireplace and a dining room. Next to this through another room with another fireplace, you will access the kitchen and a terrace with a big arch from where you can observe and enjoy the impressive views over the valley. On this floor you will find a double room and a renovated toilet for disabled people.
From this floor you have access to two different areas. One of these takes us to the rooms which traditionally were used to have the animals and nowadays are used for leaving our mountain bikes. From here you can go straight to the swimming pool and to the outside courtyard. The other takes us to the first floor where we can find five big, comfortable double bedrooms and three fully equipped toilets.
Enjoy the unique peacefulness and the beautiful nature while staying in a house of quality. Prepare meals at the barbecue, enjoy a glass of wine and good company and feel the stress leave your body.
