Casas Mametlár - Alto is a perfect holiday apartment located in the Tuscany-like area Empordá with only 6 km to the beaches of Costa Brava. There is room for 4 people in two spacious and well designed bedrooms: One with a double bed and one with two single beds which is perfect for a family. The apartment is in a house where three other apartments, all rented separately. These share the outdoor facilities.
This first floor apartment is located on the upper right side of the large courtyard you are met by after the large wooden gate. The courtyard and the houses are built of stone, which gives a rustic and authentic atmosphere. This apartment has a cosy covered patio in the courtyard, where it is obvious to enjoy the homemade meals during the warm Catalan evenings. In the daytime, it is also a perfect place to relax, as there is a cooling shade.
If you go inside, you are met by an apartment of very high quality, and it's not just the material. There is also a good atmosphere in the house. Centrally in the apartment, the living room is situated as the natural meeting point. Here, there is a cosy sofa corner, where you can watch TV and talk with the rest of the travel group. Furthermore in the living room, there is a dining table, which is an extension of the well-equipped kitchen. The two bedrooms are like the rest of the apartment beautifully decorated. They share a spacious and luxurious bathroom.
Outside there is a relatively large garden area. There is a shared pool with a size of 50m2. This is a sure hit among the kids that surely will spend lots of time in it. Especially during the summer months, when it is very hot in Catalonia, it is an essential facility because it can be cooled down in a very short time. In addition, there is a largeBBQ grill in the garden with a belonging covered dining table, where you can enjoy the freshly prepared food during the warm Catalan evenings. In addition, there are several seating areas around the garden. For the smaller group is a small playground with playhouse and swings.
Less than 100 meters from the house, there is a nice restaurant, and only 2 km away there is a local village, where there are 4 restaurants.
