Casa de Montseny is a perfect holiday home for the familiy who want a relaxing holiday in natural surroundings although still in acceptable distance to restaurants, groceries and sights.There is a swimmingpool, large lawn and trampoline in which to unfold. Moreover there aretheree floors – meaning lots of space.
When you arrive at the beautiful red holiday house, you have the garden on your right side. A large, well kept lawn, ideal for ball games and play. In one end is a cosy sitting area in the shade of the trees – this is an obvious placeto seek shelter if the sun in the middle of the day is too hot. On the other side of the house, with direct exit from the the large sitting room of the house, is the terrace with a long dining table and a big BBQ grill. This is the obvious place to enjoy the dinner when the temperature has gone down and the evenings are long. Just behind this terrace, 5 steps up is the pool area. The swimmingpool of 36m2 adds to the advantages of the house – both for the children and adults, who can spend lots of time here playing, relaxing and cooling. You can also enjoy the sun in the loungers or have fun in the trampoline right beside the pool area.
The central point in the holiday home is the large sitting room on the lower floor. Here is a large dining table accommodating 12 persons and in continuation of this, a sofa corner with a nice fireplace and TV. The room has very large panorama windows, which can be opened as sliding doors to the large lawn. In the other end there is access to the aforementioned terrace with BBQ.
Finally there is a door to the kitchen, which is well furnished with oven, coffee machine, big double fridge with freezer, microwave and other necessary facilities and tools. On this ground floor you also find a double room and a bathroom.
Most of the bedrooms are situated on the first floor . Here are four spacious double rooms and two bathrooms, of which one has as well shower as a bathtub with spa. This bathroom has exit to a large terrace with sitting arrangement and loungers. – there is of course also entry to this terrace from a bedroom.
The second (and upper) floor has a bedroom with double bed and a bathroom with shower. In addition there is a sofa areawith TV and exit to anotherterrace with a smaller sitting area andan impressive view over the tree clad hills. If you are a bigger group, it is possible for 3-4 children to sleep up here on the sofa beds.
In total there are 6 double rooms – two with double beds and four with single beds plus four bathrooms, of which one is en suite.
Just 3 km. away is the cosy town Villadrau, where you find restaurants and some shops. A trip to Barcelona is an obvious choice and can be made in one hour driving.
