Located 2.5 kilometres from the village, surrounded by a magnificent landscape of forests and meadows, in an area that invites you to take part in nature activities or just relax in the beauty of the countryside. The three hundred square-metre farmhouse is completely built of stone and is divided into three floors. The furniture is rustic in style, while being comfortable, hardwearing and practical. Antique pieces combined with modern rustic style.
The main floor is on the same level as the courtyard, making it easily accessible. In the entrance hall you will find information about the municipality and the county, as well as the most interesting activities available in the area. A large common room contains the kitchen, dining room, and lounge with a fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with all appliances: oven, ceramic hot plates, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine, etc., as well as all the other utensils you need for preparing appetising food.The dining room area has a large table (about 3 metres) where you can enjoy a good meal all together.The comfortable sofas in the lounge area invite you to relax, read, watch TV or a DVD, or listen to music.This floor also has a double bedroom and a bathroom.
The upper floor is the rest area. It has a double room with 2 single beds and three triple rooms, two with 1 double bed and 1 single bed and one with 3 single beds. All are furnished with modern rustic-style furniture and comfortable beds. There are two bathrooms, one with shower and one with a bath tub.
The lower floor has been beautifully renovated preserving the original woodwork and two arches, which add to the cosy atmosphere. This area is now and activity room for play and leisure. Here, you can relax with a board game, or you can challenge family or friends in billiards, table tennis or table football.
It is connected to the other floors by an interior staircase, and as the house is situated on a slope, you can enter from the outside by walking round the garden, so you will have easy access to the pool-area.
Outside, the cosy court yard between the house and the second building, at the moment unused, has been utilized to make an outdoor terrace with barbecue, which is usually the preferred location in the warm Catalan evenings. Also, there is access to the pool-area with the swimming pool of 8 x 4 meters and with sunloungers where you can relax in the sun and enjoy the mountain view. The house is perfect for families with small children, as the pool area is fenced and the swimming pool has roman steps, so the smallest can enter themselves, little by little.
Enjoy the landscape, the facilities and the village in this beautiful valley.From the village, you can take a small mountain train to ”the secret garden of Gaudi”. It is a beautiful place made by Gaudi for a local business man, and not so well-known as his pieces in Barcelona.
If you want to explore a bit, the area is excellent for walking or bicycling, or you get up early and take a daytrip to Barcelona or Andorra.
