Can de Cuells is a lovely holiday home with a large swimming pool and garden, beautiful terraces, stunning views and beautiful surroundings.

Can de Cuells can accommodate 6 + 2 people and is the perfect holiday home perfect for small groups who are looking for a luxurious vacation. Can de Cuells has a very large swimming pool that is 15 * 7 meters, a large green garden with gorgous flowers, and it is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and Catalan hills. The holiday home also has nice, spacious rooms with access to a large open terrace, an outdoor grill, and both covered and open-air terraces.

During the many warm days in Catalonia you can enjoy the cooling water in the 105 m2 large swimming pool. You can play in the pool, jump in the water from the diving board or read a good book in the sun beds by the pool whilst keeping an eye on the children playing throughout the day in the pool.

The lounge chairs are on a terrace at one end of the pool, where there is also placed a dining table with 6 seats and a parasol. Here the outdoor meals can be enjoyed whilst enjoying the view of the hilly Catalan vineyards. The large garden is well-kept and has lots of flowers and green areas where you can play football or enjoy the sun in the grass. From the garden you can walk into the house via the covered veranda.

First you enter the dining room, where indoor meals can be enjoyed. There is a large table with seating for 8 people and large windows so you can still enjoy the lush scenery, pool and sunsets. From the dining room, you can enter the ground floor, a large room divided into a sitting area and an open kitchen that has everything you need - stove, oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, kettle and Nespresso machine.

On the 1st floor you will find two of the house's lovely bedrooms. The two double rooms have double beds and between the rooms is a bathroom. One of the bedrooms also has access to the the large outdoor terrace, with sunbeds and chairs and tables, where meals, boardgames, reading or which ever form of relaxing activitiy you prefer, can be enjoyed. Throughout the house there is internet connection and air conditioning for the hot summers. Only 20 meters from the main house is a newly renovated annex, which has 2 single beds and a double sofa bed - a great bedroom for children. There is also a large new bathroom with shower by this bedroom.

Can de Cuells is located only about 3 km. from the cozy, large village Falset where there are several small delis which are worth a visit. The city Falset also features several restaurants, a hospital, supermarket, cafes and a train station that can connect you to Tarrogana or Barcelona by direct train.

As with most of our holiday homes, be aware that Can de Cuells is at the end of a gravel road where very low cars may have problems. Normal rental cars can arrive without problems.

Virkelig dejligt sted med den mest fantastiske udsigt, have og kæmpe pool. Imødekommende og venligst værtspar, der reagerede hver gang, vi havde spørgsmål. Autentisk hus - og alt matcher det man ser på billederne.
Når vi ikke give fem stjerner, skyldes det småting; vandet i poolen var ikke altid lige rent - det virkede lidt som om, at værtsparret ikke havde helt styr på den del. Værtsparret taler kun spansk, og det gør kommunikationen meget vanskelig, når man ikke selv taler et ord spansk. Bruseren ved poolen virkede ikke, og vi kunne have ønsket os madrasser til solstolene, som var noget hårde at ligge på. Terrassen ved huset er ikke særlig stor - hvis man vil i skygge, er det det bedste sted at sidde tæt på køkkenet. Vi kunne kun lige sidde 6 mennesker derude. Der er kun lige varmt vand til 1 ½ bad i annekset - så hvis man sover 4 derude, skal man planlægge sine bade. Grusvejen, der går fra hovedvejen og ned til huset, er en udfordring - særligt med en stor bil, og hvis bilen ikke er høj, så vil undervognen støde på bump fra grusvejen. Vi havde ikke lyst til at køre på grusvejen i total mørke! Trods de nævnte ting, er det en klar anbefaling her fra!

Vraiment bel endroit avec la vue la plus incroyable, le jardin et l'immense piscine. Couple d'hôtes accueillant et gentil qui a répondu à chaque fois que nous avions des questions. Maison authentique - et tout correspond à ce que vous voyez sur les photos.
Lorsque nous ne donnons pas cinq étoiles, cela est dû à de petites choses ; l'eau de la piscine n'était pas toujours propre - il semblait un peu que le couple hôte n'avait pas tout à fait cette partie sous contrôle. Le couple d'hôtes ne parle que l'espagnol, ce qui rend la communication très difficile lorsque vous ne parlez pas vous-même un mot d'espagnol. La douche au bord de la piscine ne fonctionnait pas et on aurait pu aimer des matelas pour les transats un peu durs pour s'allonger. La terrasse près de la maison n'est pas très grande - si vous voulez de l'ombre, c'est le meilleur endroit pour s'asseoir près de la cuisine. Nous ne pouvions asseoir que 6 personnes là-bas. Il n'y a que de l'eau chaude pour 1 ½ bains dans l'annexe - donc si vous dormez à 4 là-bas, vous devez planifier vos bains. Le chemin de terre qui va de la route principale à la maison est un défi - surtout avec une grosse voiture, et si la voiture n'est pas haute, le train de roulement rencontrera des bosses du chemin de terre. Nous n'avions pas envie de rouler sur le chemin de terre dans le noir total ! Malgré les choses mentionnées, c'est une recommandation claire d'ici!

Really nice place with the most amazing view, garden and huge pool. Welcoming and kind host couple who responded every time we had questions. Authentic house - and everything matches what you see in the pictures.
When we do not give five stars, it is due to small things; the water in the pool wasn't always clean - it seemed a bit like the host couple didn't quite have that part under control. The host couple only speak Spanish, and that makes communication very difficult when you don't speak a word of Spanish yourself. The shower by the pool didn't work and we could have liked mattresses for the sunbeds, which were a bit hard to lie on. The terrace by the house is not very large - if you want shade, it is the best place to sit close to the kitchen. We could only sit 6 people out there. There is only hot water for 1 ½ baths in the annex - so if you sleep 4 out there, you have to plan your baths. The dirt road that goes from the main road down to the house is a challenge - especially with a large car, and if the car is not tall, the undercarriage will encounter bumps from the dirt road. We didn't feel like driving on the dirt road in total darkness! Despite the mentioned things, it is a clear recommendation from here!

We (family of 4, kids 17 and 15) stayed at Can de Cuells for a week in August 22 and had a fantastic time. The pool is massive, deep enough to properly dive, the location stunning, and the house has everything we needed.

We had a few lazy days by the pool with sunsets and dinner under the ivy, but were within easy reach of Tarragona, the coast and the delta. The loop across to Miami via the C44 is very scenic. Falset is small and relaxed with plenty of choice for eating (recommend La Bacchanal for tapas).

Nous (famille de 4 personnes, enfants de 17 et 15 ans) avons séjourné à Can de Cuells pendant une semaine le 22 août et nous avons passé un moment fantastique. La piscine est immense, suffisamment profonde pour plonger correctement, l'emplacement est magnifique et la maison a tout ce dont nous avions besoin.

Nous avons passé quelques jours de farniente au bord de la piscine avec des couchers de soleil et un dîner sous le lierre, mais nous étions à proximité de Tarragone, de la côte et du delta. La boucle vers Miami via la C44 est très pittoresque. Falset est petit et détendu avec beaucoup de choix pour manger (recommander La Bacchanal pour les tapas).

Albert and Dolores are very friendly and helpful (despite our ineptitude in Spanish or Catalan) and their wine is great! Thoroughly recommended.

Hemos estado en esta casa 1 semana con los niños y hemos estado encantados.
La casa está perfecta para una familia o grupo pequeño.
El jardín y la piscina son fantásticos y puedes disfrutar del paisaje mientras te tomas un vino en el mirador bajo la hiedra.
La casa tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días de relax y tranquilidad.

The house is perfect for a family or small group.

Pasamos unos días y fin de año geniales en un entorno natural muy tranquilo. La casa es preciosa, acogedora, cómoda, no le falta ningún detalle y, sobretodo, tuvimos todas las necesidades cubiertas (leña, aire caliente, electrodomésticos, utensilios, toallas, sábanas...). Además, la atención por parte de los dueños fue perfecta.

Sin duda volveríamos a repetir.
