Casa Setas is a country house, originally built in the 16th century. It was built in a very rustic style - a style that still shines through after the gentle modernization. The house has room for 8 people, and it is therefore perfect for two families travelling together. Here you can stay in the true Catalan countryside with breathtaking views.
The villa is surrounded by wooded hills and makes the area very peaceful. Here you can experience an authentic Catalan atmosphere where relaxation becomes very easy. There are only a few other houses nearby. However, the nearest restaurant is only 5 km from the holiday home. Furthermore, there are some marvelous views over the hills that can be particularly enjoyed from the pool area’s sunbeds.
One of the best and most fascinating things about Casa Setas is its authentic style - here there has really been gone the extra mile for details. General for this house is that it has original stone walls and beams bearing the house. The house has two floors. The ground floor has a kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven and other necessary equipment. There is also a large and spacious living room with a fireplace, a TV, a dining table and a sitting area. This room is very unique in that it has a pillar of wood in the middle - a relic of the original building. There is also direct access to terrace.
If you walk up the stairs to the first floor, you are met by 4 double rooms and 2 bathrooms. The rooms are generally very spacious and beautifully decorated. In total there are 4 single beds and 2 double beds. One of the rooms has a beautiful little balcony from which stunning views can be enjoyed. Especially the bathrooms are beautiful and classically decorated.
A place that undoubtedly will become the children's favorite is the swimming pool. It has a size of 32 m2, and the surrounding area is equipped with sun beds and a parasol. From here, under the Catalan sun and with the hills in the background, you can really enjoy the peaceful atmosphere that this holiday home offers. In addition, Casa Setas has a very large garden, where there is lots of space to play football and have fun. There are also many hiking opportunities in the area. Finally, there is an outdoor BBQ grill where you can make good, homemade food.
Outside there is also a swing set and a table tennis table.

During your stay in Catalonia, it is obvious to make a trip to the metropolis Barcelona. It takes from most houses only 1-1½ hours to drive in to the Catalan capitol know for Gaudi, Miró, The Ramblas, the Gothic neighbourhood, F.C. Barcelona, the beach and many other things. The previous summers, many of our guests have chosen to rent a holiday apartment in Barcelona before our after their stay in the beautiful Catalan countryside.
