Beautiful, authentic house with swimming pool and walking distance to the town centre
Casa de Xangall gives you a rare opportunity to stay many people together in a holiday home with both swimming pool and within walking distance to a cosy city center. Not many homes with room for 16 guests (and four extra beds) have this combination. This holiday home has many possible activities: Cool off in the pool, explore the exciting city, take the bus directly toBarcelona or drive the 35 km toCosta Brava beaches.
The house is located on the outskirts of the town Banyoles. It lies on a small residential street with only local traffic to the few other houses on the road. The gate and the walls around the patio gives you peace and a great place to relax.
The pool has a size of 6m x 3m and is therefore well suited for relaxing. The steps into the pool enables even the smallest in the holiday group to have fun in the water. Right next to the pool, there is a covered terrace with a long dining table - an excellent place for enjoying the evening meal if you choose to cook by yourself. Actually, you can prepare the food on the same terrace by the BBQ grill and the simple kitchen. It is also a great place to seek shade during the middle of the day, when the sun is at its highest.
The village Banyoles has a huge beautiful lake, where the local social life is being enjoyed. You can swim in the lake and rent either boats or bikes to discover the lake in different ways. There are restaurants as well as a walking path along the lake. The village has a weekly market (Wednesdays between 7am-2pm) where you can buy the best local products. It has a lot of great authentic restaurants as well as many cafés and shops. Cal de Banyoles is situated in the heart of the beautiful region Girona, which allows you to explore many beautiful sights in the region on half days excursions. There are 35 km. to the beaches inCosta Brava.
When you enter the ground floor, you meet a dining room with a beautiful long wooden table and some beautiful furniture. In the other end of the room, there is a small kitchen with oven, dishwasher and stove. There is also a TV in this room,
Next to the dining room, there is a cosy room for relaxation with comfortable sofas. There is also a small game room on this floor with table football and table tennis. The house has beautiful stonewalls with a beautiful arched ceiling.
There is a large, spacious bedroom at the entrance on the lower floor – a level adjusted bedroom with bathroom en suite (wheelchair-accessible). On the second floor, you will find the other seven double rooms. The rooms are colourfully decorated, and several of them have beamed ceiling. There are 6 bathrooms.
In the holiday home there is a bath with the possibility of aromatherapy. Different kinds of massage, mud bath and facial treatment may be booked
