The gravel road winds its way up the hill, through the lush, green landscape. As you approach Vila Valdes, you will drive through a beautiful arched gate. Once you arrive at the house, you immediately notice that Vila Valdes is something very special! An authentic, beautiful Catalan country home surrounded by a beautiful, lush garden with stunning flowers and trees.
The natural gathering point of the house is the beautiful swimming pool, which is incredibly big! So if you love swimming, there are plenty of opportunities for that. But you can of course also just soak up the Catalan sun rays on one of the many, comfy sun loungers lined up along the swimming pool.
On the side of the house you will find a great BBQ area with tables and chairs under a shady pavilion. Here you can both prepare and eat delicious meals while enjoying the lovely Catalan weather.
Next to the BBQ area is the entrance to the ground floor of the house. The interior of the house has been nicely renovated, but of course with respect for the house's original architecture and its many precious details, such as the beautiful arches and the wooden beams in the ceiling, have been preserved. Here you will find four large bedrooms. Two of the rooms are tripple rooms with a double bed and a single bed, and the other two rooms are double rooms - one with two single beds and the other with a double bed. The bedrooms share a large bathroom on the ground floor.
You will also find the large open kitchen and living space on the ground floor. The kitchen is newly renovated and fully equipped with everything you would need. There is also a large long table with space for the entire group, and a cozy living space with comfortable sofas. It's an incredibly beautiful room, with beautiful wooden beams in the ceiling. In extension of the living room, there are large double doors with windows, which give you direct access to the pool area.
Next to the entrance of the ground floor, there is a staircase leading up to the room on the first floor. This is the perfect children's room, with space for six people (one double bed and four single beds). The room also has an ensuite bathroom. But the best part of the first floor, is the direct access to the covered terrace which is equipped with a large table tennis table and a views overlooking the stunning garden and the swimmingpool.
One thing that we cannot forget to mention, is the house's fantastic location. With only 5 km. to the beach and 40 km to Barcelona, it doesn't get much better! We are sure that a holiday in Vila Valdes will be unforgettable, and we can only recommend it!
