Enjoy a holiday surrounded by wild nature in a house with the most beautiful, stylish interior!

It is fascinating that only 40 minutes from Barcelona there is nature that makes one feel in the farthest corner of the Pyrenees, with mountains, meadows and rock formations, Then call; long reach. If you are lucky, the deer stand and graze in front of the house in the morning sun, and the wild rabbits may also poke around.

On this fantastic spot Marc and his family have a many hectare plot with two houses. They themselves live in one, which is approx. 200 meters from the holiday home. They are super sweet, and will be happy to help if you have questions, or want tips and ideas, just as they also; has a large kitchen garden, where you can pick up fresh vegetables if you want.

The holiday house Viler de Terceña itself is completely independent, and you will of course have all the privacy you want.

The beauty of the holiday home itself is difficult to describe. Marc and family simply have a sense for interior design, and they have managed, through the many beautiful things they have brought and interior design in general, to create a holiday home with a fantastic atmosphere. The beautiful building, which dates all the way back to the 13th century and has been continuously expanded since then, provides the authentic setting. In this framework, Marc and his family have managed to give the interior a touch of France, Japan and Scandinavia in the various rooms and areas of the lovely house.

The kitchen area is the most French. Already the huge courtyard garden with both sun and shade gives French sensations with beautiful cafe tables in cobblestone style. The kitchen has vaulted windows facing the courtyard, and is what you associate with a typical French country kitchen, where the polished concrete floor and the rustic decor are tasteful. In addition, there is a huge area with almost infinite height to the beautiful ceiling, the large beautiful long table is the natural gathering point for the meals.

The decor in the rest of the house

Enjoy the many beautiful pieces of furniture, effects and paintings as you move from the kitchen via a large hall into the living room with sofa and armchairs, where you are inspired to relax with a book or simply enjoy the view of the garden. The large windows give the house an incredible amount of natural light, which is a great quality.

The hall also gives access to a very large rustic bathroom with a ”Hollywood mirror” as one of the more curious details. From here, there are some steps up to a room, which is currently an extra living room, but which will be converted into a suite with double bed and sofa corner. The bathroom has a beautiful view through the large panoramic windows.

The stairs continue up to 1. hall's hall, where you are once again in awe of the many fantastic objects that decorate the house. There are two huge bathrooms, one with a bathtub, and in addition access to the house's additional bedrooms. First, a large room with two smaller double beds and a sofa bed, and for example, many children can sleep together, or as a family room. The next two bedrooms are slightly smaller, and have access from the hall, but are also interconnected by a sliding door, so they can function as family rooms. The last bedroom is slightly elongated and has a double bed at one end and a desk at the other.

 Again, the incidence of light and design creates a unique atmosphere, which tones down the typically Catalan and mixes all the best from other countries.

It is not completely decided how many extra beds Marc can offer, but the bedrooms are large, especially; Feel free to ask if you are a slightly larger group.

The outdoor areas:

The house has some very large outdoor areas. In front of the house there is a small grove, where it is possible to eat with a view, and below a pond, which Marc intends to clean up, so smaller children can play there. The view is mountains as far as you eye can see.

On the other side of the house, there are some storage buildings, and one level up are the two former rainwater pools, one of which has been cleaned up and functions as a swimming pool. It is therefore round and approximately 7 x 7 metres.

On our visit here in October 2022, the outdoor areas appear a bit rough an needs a quality lift, which we understand Marc and his family already has as a project moving forward, so also the outdoors will correspond to the standard of the house. You are welcome to ask about the status if you are considering renting the house.

Landscape and village:

You will find a holiday home with slightly varying quality inside and out, but with the most fantastic atmosphere of a French country house inside, and rouch Catalan nature with the most beautiful views outside. På despite the feeling of a slightly deserted location, there is actually less than 3 km. on foot (a little longer by car), down to the nearby village, which has a smaller but very cozy ancient village center, with a few restaurants, some shops (including .a. baker) and a shopkeeper. There is also a sports field for, among other things, football, if you want some physical diversion.

Excursions and activities:

To the extent that there is water in the river, there is 1-2 km. from the house in several places where you can bath where the rocks form natural ”pools”. In addition, there is also lots of shorter and longer hikes in the area, and one of Spain's main hiking routes (categorized ”GR” ) passes approx. 1 km. from the house.

The house is located in a You can easily drive to Barcelona on under an hour, where there is both the city and the beach. If you are interested in wine, the distance to the wine district Penedés is alsoå under an hour. In general, you can find almost all types of activities you might be interested in within a reasonable driving distance. We and Marc and family are happy to help.
