Can Pont de Fonellas is a well-restored holiday home with lots of attractive amenities. The house itself dates all the way back to 1615, but over time it has been undergoing several reconstructions. The holiday home has managed to maintain its Catalan style, but at the same time has received several modern additions, so the comfort level is excellent.
The holiday home is situated privately, hidden away from noise and buzz, and the children are free to run around and play in the garden. The fenced pool area sits in the corner of the garden and tempts with sun loungers, a pavilion and of course a refreshing dip in the water, which during the summer has a nice, comfortable temperature. The swimming pool is 8x4 meters in size.
In the garden you will also find the lovely, large terrace with barbecue and seating for the whole holiday group. In addition, there is a football field, a basketball court as well as a sandpit with some swings.
Moving inside, you will be greeted by the beautiful porch, where a beautiful glass staircase that goes from the ground floor through the first floor and up to the second floor, has been built. Moreover, on the ground floor there is a bedroom (with 2 double beds) with en suite bathroom, a common bathroom and of course both the lovely living room and the well equipped kitchen.
The kitchen has 2 refrigerators, a microwave, an oven, a dishwasher, a washing machine, a coffee maker, a dining table, and more. Adjacent to the kitchen is the modern, lovely living room, which is beautifully furnished with sofas, television and another dining table.
The 6 other bedrooms (7 in total) are located on the 1st floor. In total, the house has 3 double rooms, 2 triple rooms and 2 quadruple rooms. All 7 rooms have en suite bathrooms.
On the second floor you find the games room, which has table football, table tennis, darts, board games, TV, etc.
Can Pont Fonellas is situated on a small hill in the landscape. Below the house, there is a big field with grassing cows, idyllic :-) - On the other side of the field, you can see the owners farm in the distance. Behind the house, between the house and a stable for the cows, there is the padel field, which has now also been covered, so it is useful even if there should be a day with rainy weather. As it is close to the stable, there might be some smell occasionally. Not a big thing, but for city noses it is worth mentioning ;-)

Can Pont de Fonellas is only just approx. 4 km from the village of Casserres, where there are both a supermarket, a butcher, a bakery, a restaurants and a cafe. Both Puig-reig and Gironella are about 12 minutes away and are slightly larger - both are very charming villages. If you want something a little bigger, the lovely town of Berga is approx. 15-20 minutes away and the local market takes place every Saturday here. Barcelona is just over 1 hour away, so you can quite easily do a daytrip to the fantastic regional capital.
