Casa Massova is a very well-maintained Catalan holiday home. The swimming pool, the extensive activity area, the football field and the tennis court makes it a perfect place to spend a vacation for children and active people. The sun beds and shady corners, however, makes it also a nice place for holidays if one looks for relaxation.
Inside, you enter the large dining/living room with access to the open kitchen. It contains a large dining table, a sofa-corner with TV and music equipment. There is also an open fireplace. In the far end, you get to the 6 double rooms, 4 with twin beds and 2 with double beds. Up to four more beds and cot is optional. There are four fully equipped bathrooms.
Outside, the house is surrounded by lawn and trees. There is a large terrasse/activity area ideal for eating outside and a nice view over the Catalan landscape. The very nice garden has its own private tennis court (concrete) and a football field.
In the Authum 2008, a new swimming pool was constructed, privately situated between the house and the football field, and with a nice view over the area and with the church La Guardia on a hill top in the distance. The pool area has garden tables and sun beds.
On the other side of the courtyard, the kind owner Rosa lives with her family. The old lady has let out Casa Massova (and two other houses) for more than 15 years, so she respects the guests' privacy.
If you like gourmet food, Oriol and Martha in Els Casals down the road has just been awarded a Michelin star for their excellent cooking, based on ingredients from the family farm.
The property will provide the perfect base for vacation and a place you love to return to after a long day discovering the many sights and activities in Catalonia.
