Are you the type who just loves to have a small, cute town with local restaurants in walking distance from your holiday home? And the opportunity of going to Barcelona and the pyrenees within one hour? Then Casa Puentes is the perfect choice for you! We do however kindly inform our guests, that due to the positioning of the house, you are in a less private and isolated location, and with a certain wind direction, you may be able to hear cars from the road. With that said, the house is also surrounded by grass-fields and horses, and there are plenty of hiking and cykling opportunities!
Casa Puentes is a beautiful, authentic limestone Catalan country home with room for 15(+3) guests. The house has been renovated throughout the years - of course with respect for the original architecture, and many of the precious details have been preserved. This means that the house has the perfect combination of authentic Catalan architecture and modern comfort!
The highlight of the house is the swimmingpool area, which is connected to a big game hall. We imagine you will be spending most of your time here, enjoying the warm Catalan weather. Comfy sun loungers are lined up along the pool side, and the swimming pool is big with lots of space for the entire holiday group! We imagine the children of the holiday group, are going to have a blast, being able to switch between swimming, playing table tennis and table football!
Casa Puentes has two separate entrances, as the house is split up into two independent homes within the one building. The first building that meets you from the beautifully paved driveway, has a large, shaded outdoor dining area in front of the house. The dining area consists of a BBQ and a long wooden table with room for the entire group. We imagine long, summer nights with great company and local food and wine from the Catalan markets and wineries!
The outdoor dining area has direct access through double doors to the shared living and kitchen space on the ground floor of the house. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm, and the loungeroom equipped with comfortable sofas!
This part of the house has four bedrooms. Next to the livinspace on the ground floor is a double room with an ensuite bathroom. Further down the hallway is a tripple room with a bathroom ensuite. From the hallway you follow the staircase up to the second floor of the house. Here you will find the rest of the spacious double bedrooms, which also have ensuite bathrooms.
From the second floor you can exit the house into the backyard. Next to this exit, you will find the entrance to the other part of the home. From the entrance you step into a cozy, shared living space consisting of a charming, open kitchen, a dining table, and a lounge space with a sofa arrangement and a TV. The living space also has wooden double French terrase overlooking the front yard. From the living space you can enter the tree double rooms and the two bathrooms.
In 2024, the new beautiful Jacuzzi zone was opened. This is optional and can be added to your booking for 200 Euros.
