El Forn Escardivel is a lovely classic Catalan holiday home, situated on a hilltop with the most beautiful mountain views and the small roads that wind towards the peaks.
Here you can get the most relaxing base for your holiday, only disturbed by bird calls and maybe a cow bell in the distance. Enjoy the sun, or if you prefer the shade, the covered terrace overlooking the pool and with the scenery in the background and even to the iconic Montserrat mountain on a clear day.
The entrance to the house is a few steps up, where there is a smaller terrace. The house has a large living room with long table and a fully equipped kitchen. There are a total of 4 double rooms with double beds and a room with 3 single beds. Two additional beds are available to accommodate up to 13 people in the house. There are 2 common bathrooms. Downstairs there is a sofa area with flat screen TV and countryside views.
The outside area consists of a lawn, the covered terrace with barbecue and a small hall with a table tennis. One level down (fenced), you have your private swimming pool so you can have a dip on the hot summer days. In the level below the swimming pool there is also a playground.
Although the house is secluded, it is only 20-25 minutes down to Navás, where there are shopping opportunities and where the C-16 motorway can take you to Barcelona or to the beach in approx. 1 hour. In the other direction comes towards the Pyrenees and Andorra. There are plenty of activities in the area, such as a few wineries and various outdoor activities, hiking, biking, kayaking.
