Masia la Forqua is a brilliant holiday home situated in beautiful, tranquil landscape centrally in Catalonia. Perfectly arranged, you will have your own little holiday paradise with the 3 buildings surrounding the terrace and the huge pool area (with Jacuzzi function) in the middle. This creates a fantastic holiday atmosphere, with the outdoor area working very well as a gathering place for the full group.
The 3 buildings of Masia la Forqua are the main building (with all the bedrooms), the games hall & lastly the dining hall.
The games hall is a large, very spacious, former barn that has been converted into a huge games hall with table tennis, a pool table, table football as well as a basketball net. A lot of fun is to be had here, and with a 400 m2 garden, a great swimming pool and a games hall, if you have any children in the group, they are bound to have an amazing time.
The second building, is a lovely, large dining hall with a kitchen and a big dining table. This is always greatly appreciated, as the whole group can sit here, enjoy dinner together, and even cook together. This building also has a huge patio, where you can sit and relax in the shade, and there’s a BBQ just around the corner. There is furthermore a back room to the dining hall, where the owners can organize an extra bedroom, if needed.
Lastly, you’ll have the main building, of course. The house sleeps maximum 24 persons in 9 bedrooms across 7 double rooms and 2 quadruple rooms. The bedrooms are all spacious and very modernly furnished, all of them with high quality beds, linen and mattresses. There are also 7 bathrooms in the house. At the first floor, you will find the lovely, big family room with a large sofa arrangement as well as a wooden dining table and a very well equipped kitchen. Furthermore, you will have two flat screen televisions.
Masia la Forqua is 8-9 minutes from Casseres, which is a small, charming village with a couple of grocery stores, a baker and a few restaurants/cafés. The larger town of Berga is about 17 minutes away, where the market every Saturday can be recommended for a local experience. The only neighbour to Masia la Forqua is a former school, which is now a communal building, where only 1 person is living.
