Can Bosquita - the house of the small forest - is located in the most beautiful surroundings, completely isolated and yet within walking distance (15 minutes by foot) to the nearest village with restaurants, a grocery store and a bakery.
The holiday home is one of the two holiday homes located on the property. The two properties (Gran and Mirador) are two separate buildings, which each has its own private terrace, barbecue and outdoor areas, providing plenty of privacy. The shared pool area is one level below the holiday homes, and is fenced for the safety of small children.
The property is undisturbed as it is the last house before the forest, so there are great opportunities for beautiful walks and cycling routes. In the other direction, the local village is within walking distance. Here there are a few restaurants, a bakery, a supermarket and some shops. There is also public transport to Barcelona and Girona.
Can Bosquita - Gran is the largest of the two buildings that make up Can Bosquita. The two buildings are located on the sloping property, which extends over more than 4,000 m2. First the main building Can Bosquita - Gran and right opposite, separated by the terrace, is El Mirador. From both houses you have a fantastic view of the valley below, where the Brugent river works its way down towards Girona and above the house rises the beautiful Guilleries mountain massif.
In 2006, the owners of this family property decided together to restore the antique buildings, which date back to the 16th century, to a high-quality holiday home, but with respect to its original style and design, and so they have preserved many of the original, charming details. The project lasted two years, and in 2008, Can Bosquita was able to receive their first guests.
In Can Bosquita - Gran you now get a holiday home that is of a very high standard in every detail, and is designed to create the perfect setting for a great holiday, whether you are a large family or group of friends and regardless of age and interests.
Just below the house, is the lovely swimming pool area, perfect for children of all ages. One level below the pool area, there is a large lawn where there is the opportunity to play football, volleyball, badminton or basketball.
In Can Bosquita - Gran there is a total of 6 bedrooms, of which 2 are triple rooms and 4 are double rooms, as well as 4 bathrooms. The house has entrance level with the parking lot. As the house is located on a slope, the house has several levels, which is very charming. A few steps up are the first three bedrooms, all very spacious. They are equipped with single beds, which can be set up as double beds if preferred. One of the rooms has its own exit to the garden. These three bedrooms share two bathrooms, all fully equipped and also with showers. Further up there are 3 extra bedrooms, one of which is smaller than the others in "loft style".
There is a fantastic kitchen where the original sink and fireplace have been integrated with all modern equipment of high standard, such as microwave, large stove with 5 hotplates (gas) and plenty of work space so cooking can be done together, perhaps accompanied by a glass wine or cava.
The house is the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing holiday and also very well located for excursions to Catalonia's many sights or to the beach (35 minutes).
