Departure Information

Just as with arrival times, we kindly ask that you also respect the departure time stated in your booking confirmation. If you want to leave later, this must be arranged and confirmed by the home owners in advance. Normally it will not be possible in the summer months as a a new group will arrive the same day.

At Sydens Feriehuse / Catalaonia holiday lettings cleaning on departure is included in the price. Therefore, you do not have to pay for a final cleaning, however we kindly ask that you leave the house ready for cleaning, which means that you please:

• Leave the house in a tidy matter

• If you have re-arranged beds or furniture in the holiday home, please put them where you found them

• Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and turn it on so that the homeowner can empty it once they arrive. If there is not enough room for all the dirty dishes in the machine, please wash them by hand.

• Empty the refrigerator before departure and throw out anything that you do not keep

• Throw out your waste and empty bottles before departure

• Leave all towels in one room (it makes it so much easier for homeowners to do the washing, as they are running on a tight schedule)

• Pay for any broken objects. Most of our holiday homes do not require security deposit, as your visit is based on mutual trust.

• Remember to hand in all keys.

If the holiday home is not left in a cleaned condition, the tenant can be charged for extra cleanup. If you have paid a security deposit on arrival, it is refunded on departure (as long as there is no damage to the house and the house is left in a cleaned condition ready for cleaning and if all keys are returned).
