Masia Cloxanét is a 550m2 large holiday home, which is situated 5 km. from the village Moiá and just 57 Km. from Barcelona. The hilltop location offers you a fantastic view over the valley, not at least from the cosy outdoor but covered sofa/lounge area.
It is a traditional Catalan farmhouse, which dates from the end of the XIV century. The house was fully restored in 2008 and today it offers all modern comfort. The architect has beautifully preserved the traditional architecture of the Catalan country houses and the furniture, paintings and objects of the time but also providing all the amenities.
The house has room for 20 (+4) guests and is surrounded by garden and fruit trees and situated in a superb natural setting and just a five-minute walk from the prehistoric caves of El Toll. At an altitude of 800 meters, you can enjoy a splendid landscape with a view of all the mountainranges in central Catalonia and Pre-Pyrenees.
The house has a game room, a cozy living room with fireplace, a covered outdoor barbecue to enjoy good meals and the sunset, a great swimming pool and a large outdoor area. It is a perfect choice for the large group who wants plenty of space inside as well as outside.
On the ground floor you will find the large patio with a covered terrace, BBQ and a pretty look to the landscape. Here is also the lounge with TV and a cozy fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, with a large table and chairs as well as the dining room with a traditional long table. There is one double bedroom on the ground floor, which is accessible for the disabled. The room has a private bathroom. The game room of the house is also situated on the ground floor and in the garden is a playground with swings, the swimming pool and a multipurpose court (basketball and football). The entire outdoor area is situated in excellent environment.

The property is ecological, surrounded by cultivation and olive plantations, all with eco certification (CCPAE). In the house you will find a guide to see and recognize the native birds and the edible plants that you can find around the house.
Masia Cloxanet is also pet-friendly. Carla and Marti is happy to welcome your dogs and they even offer "dog-sitting", in case you would like to go on a full day trip to Barcelona or elsewhere, where it is complicated to bring your four-leg familiy member :-)
Say hello to the sheep or have a nice tapas experience!
The kind and active owners Carla and Marti live nearby, and if you travel with children, they are welcome to come and say hello to the sheep and feed the chickens. You might even be lucky that they have a lamb.
They also offer a brunch- or tapas experience with products from the area (sausages, bravas, wine, cheese, eggs, village bread...). This much be booked some time before arrival and depends on availability. They will also be happy to help you, if you want to hire a chef for a night, or need help to find a guide, go for a winery tour or book tickets for a visit somewhere etc.
