Therefore, it is even more surprising, when you, after a short drive on a gravel road, arrives to a beautiful wooden gate, and when you enter, it is almost like entering a different world.
With point of departure in beautiful and more than 800 m2 catalan limestone house, Patricia and her husband has created a very special place. Together with their kind caretaker Steven and numerous “Workaway” visitors with different skills and from many different countries, over the years, they have created what you will find.
The house is situated in about 200 meters of altitude and in front of it opens the valley down to the Mediteranean Sea, which you can overview, and especially on bright days, it is an amazing view, with the very special colour this sea has. The valley is covered by green forest, as the property of the house extends more than 2 kilometers down the valley with protected forest. There are many different small walks, carefully marked with stones, and different small “games” for the children. For the adults, they have what they call “cross-country pétanque field” making its way down a gravel road, making the game challenging, different and fun!
In a side building lives Steven, sometimes with a workaway also, who will be happy to assist and advice during your stay, as well as he will maintain the swimming pool, but besides that leave you with all the privacy you want. Also part of the “family” is the kind dog Nena, which loves company, but can stay with Steven, if you are not so found of dogs. Then there are the two cats Whiskey and Rosset, but they will normally disappear, when there are people around. Finally, but not the least, the two tame hens, who normally walk around freely, but they can also be in their “hens-garden” if you prefer. Also there is a vegetable- and spice garden, where you can take what is ready when you are there.
As Patricia and her husband travel a lot due to work, they have decided to let out most parts of the house to groups, who find the place to fit with their taste and values. Her husband has an office with a separate entrance, which he might need to use from time-to-time, but of course leave you with your privacy.
If you think this could be a place to spend your holiday, you will find an amazing holiday home waiting for you. You will have a cosy kitchen of very high standard. The husband of Patricia is kitchen designer, so the stove is special made for the house, and in general, the kitchen is fantastic, if you like to cook.
There is also a very nice dining room, and you will have direct access to the garden, where there is a big covered terrace, excellent for outside dining, and “chill-out sofas” for a drink or a coffee, while you enjoy the amazing view.
Also in the ground floor you find the a spacious sitting room with sofas, TV and even a “roll-down screen”, if you bring a projector. From the sitting room, you access an aisle with two large and beautiful bedrooms, sharing a bathroom with both bathtub and shower.
From the beautiful distribution hall, you access the first floor and a big distribution hall. To one side, you find a very large double room with bathroom ensuite, also very large and with bathtub.
Then there is a very big meeting room, mainly used when the house host a company meeting. There are also a lot of books, and the second function is library. You are of course welcome to read the books. In connection, there is also a big room with a lot toys and books for smaller children.
Across the hall, a long aisle provide access to four more bedrooms. Facing the valley, there is a cosy double room and a family room with a double bed and two single beds, both with beautiful views and sharing a bathroom with bathtub.
To the other side, two more double rooms, as everything in the house decorated with taste and carefully respecting the history of the house. There two bedrooms share a large bathroom with shower.

Outside, the lawn with some sun loungers, terrace and sofa corner next to the swimming pool, makes it a fantastic place to be, not at least for the stunning view over the forest and down to the mediterranean Sea.
As described, you can access the house via paved roads, but if you come in a car not too low, you can easily take the gravel road of the house down through the forest and arrive quicker to the sea and the highway for Barcelona. I did it in an Opel Mocca without any problems. It will take you about 15 minutes. Here you find a cosy beach town with a nice beach, shops, cafés and restaurants. There is also a train station, if you prefer to take the train to Barcelona.
With regards to the capacity, as dining room and terrace is dimensioned to 12 persons, and also due to the water supply of the house, we can maximum receive 12 persons. You can use the seven bedrooms as you want, they are all included in the rental.
If you have fallen in love, Patricia and her husband as well as Steven, cats, dogs and hens will be happy to welcome you for a relaxing holiday.
