Cal Bateña is a beautiful holiday home with accommodation for up to 13 guests. With its incredible view overlooking the landscape, private swimming pool, covered terrace and Catalan charm, Cal Bateña is a wonderful place to relax with family and friends.
After a 3 km. drive up a winding, steep gravel road, you arrive to the stunning holiday home, which has an even more fascinating view! Cal Bateña has a secluded, private location far from the hustle and bustle of the city. The only near by neighbour, is the kind mother of the home owner, who lives in a separate apartment on the property. She is very sweet and helpful, however she will of course leave you with full privacy.
The pool area is placed next to the house. This is probably where you will be spending most of the day. It has comfy sun loungers and a spectacular view! The perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, relaxing and everything else that characterises a summer in beautiful Catalonia. For the safety of children the pool area is fenced, so you can have a completely stress-less holiday. There is also a garden in front of the house, with a playground with swings and a slide where the children can play.
The large, covered terrace with Catalan limestone arches also has a phenomenal view! A wonderful place to enjoy outdoor meals - either cooked in the BBQ area or in the rustic, charming kitchen, which is fully equipped.
Inside the home you will find a large living and dining room where you can relax. There are also 5 cozy bedrooms and 2 shared bathrooms.
Cal Bateña really has a fantastic secluded location with green surroundings and privacy, fra from the noisy, bussy city. However, as Cal Bateña is located in between the two cozy towns Solsana and Cardona, it is only a 20-30 minute drive. Both towns have medieval town centers with lovely shops and a local weekly market. If you like to take day trips, you can also visit some of the region's other exciting districts and cities including Vic (roughly a 1 hour drive), the Penedes wine district (roughly 1 and a half hour drive) or to the always vibrant and colorful city Barcelona (roughly 1 and a half hour drive).
