Just near the Pyrenees located up in the mountains you will find the beautiful holiday home Can de Xique. The huge holiday home is surrounded by beautiful nature and can accomodate up to 23 people - the perfect holiday home for a large group. Can de Xique’s location is ideal as there is a small town located only 300 meters away and the regions large city Berga only a short 20 minute drive away.
Can de Xique’s many outdoor facilities are incredibly luxurious and perfect for the warm sunny days in Catalonia. The large pool is located down in front of the house, and is fenced for the safety of children. There is a deep end and a low end for the younger children to play in. And with its stunning view looking over the Catalan mountains, we imagine that most of your time will be spent down here. Up in front of the house you will find a large green garden, also with a fabulous view. Several small tables with chairs are placed in the garden. There is also a large table (not shown on the photos), where outdoor meals can be enjoyed throughout the day. The setting is absolutely fantastic with the view, the beautiful nature and the authentic holiday home. The friendly owners of the house live behind the holiday home. They will ensure you that you have 100% privacy also on the outdoor grounds. However, if you should be in need of anything they will be more then happy to help.
Inside the house on the ground floor, you will find the cozy and comfortable common rooms. The large open kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need including a large fridge, freezer, stove, double-toaster, kettle, washing machine and a dishwasher. There is also a large dining table in the open kitchen, where indoor meals can be enjoyed. At the end of the large dining + kitchen room you can entertain yourselves with a game of table tennis or fooseball. In the next room is the large loungeroom. The loungeroom is set up with comfortable couches and chairs. It is also equipped with a large flat screen television. There is also a bar with two large fridges. So there is plenty of space for food and beverages that needs to be kept cool. There is also a bathroom on the ground floor, so you don’t have to go upstairs.
Upstairs you will find all 9 bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms are triple rooms and the rest are double rooms. All bedrooms except for two of them have ensuite bathrooms. The bedrooms are very simple and cosy with decorative walls and bed linens. The triple rooms consist of a single bed and a bunk bed, and are the perfect bedrooms for children. The double rooms have two single beds, but can be turned into normal double beds. There is a small town located just 300 meters away from the house. Here you can eat at the local restaurant or visit the authentic, local church. There is also the possibility of taking a day trip to the regions large city Berga, which has plenty of shops and markets. Berga is located roughly a short 20 minute drive from the holiday home.
