Cozy holiday home ideal for a family with a private location and beautiful surroundings

Casa Megar is a charming Catalan country home, perfect for a family! The house has been fully renovated in 2008 with respect to its original framework and Catalan charm. Casa Megar is located in the province Urgell, which separates the coastal provinces of Catalonia and the Pyrenees. As it is the last house in a tiny village of only 8 houses the views of the Pre-pyrenees are excellent.

Casa Megar's outdoor facilities are very nice and include a small garden-terrace with a the most important feature: the swimming pool! The terrace has an excellent view over the landscape and is perfect for outside dining during the warm Catalan summers. There is also a barbecue where you can cook delicious meals. For the young children there is also a playground and table tennis.

The house has three floors and the interior of the house is very cozy and has a traditional Catalan style with limestone walls and wooden beams in the ceilings. It provides a very cozy feeling and creates a relaxed atmosphere. The common rooms can be found on the lower floor of the house including a very well-equipped kitchen, dining room with a large table and a cozy sofa corner with comfortable couches and a  TV.

The bedrooms are located on the two top floors. On the second floor you will find two of the bedrooms which both have ensuite bathrooms. On the third floor you will find the remaining two bedrooms which share a bathroom. There is also an extra common area with two sofa beds on the third floor.

Casa Megar is perfect for those who appreciate a private and quiet location in very natural and beautiful surroundings.

You can either visit Barcelona on a day trip during your stay, or you may choose to stay in Barcelona for some nights before or after your vacation in the Catalan countryside.
