Beautiful Casa Aires with stunning panoramic views and green surroundings

THE HOME

Casa Aires is a beautiful rural house with room for 8 guests. The lovely home is surrounded by forest, and is the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. The spectacular panoramic views of Pedraforca, the plain of Vic, Montseny and Cabrerès are truly fantastic. Even more, Casa Aires is charming and authentic, as the original construction elements, such as the Catalan stone walls and wooden beams. It is also designed with sustainability criteria and is accessible to people with reduced mobility.

The stunning swimmingpool is located in the front of the house and has the same magnificent view, as the rest of the house. We imagine that you will probably spend the most of your holiday right here, watching the children play and swim the day away, reading books, and enjoying the Catalan sun rays. To the left of the pool you will find the BBQ area and the large terrace, where you can enjoy meals throughout the day whilst admiring the green and lush landscape.

Inside the house you will find the large, open kitchen and dining space. The panoramic windows give the room a beautiful, natural light but also gives you yet another place to enjoy the spectacular view. The kitchen is fully equipped, and also has basic products such as scrub and soap, cloths and kitchen paper, oil, vinegar, salt, sugar and coffee. You will also find four very nicely decorated double rooms which each have private bathrooms.

LOCATION

Casa Aires is located in El Cabrerès in the Osona region, in the municipality of L’Esquirol- a unique place for lovers of nature, silence and tranquility.

With several parks and natural areas close by and a 30-minute drive from Vic (which has the largest market in Catalonia) and Rupit, Casa Aires offers the best of both worlds. You can also take a day trip to the virbrant city of Barcelona which is 94 kilometers away or to Barcelona's little sister Girona which is 80 kilometers away.

Nearby activities include hiking, mountain biking, mountain running, horse riding, cultural tours and much more. You are welcome to contact us for our activity documents, if you would like to have more information on this.

With regards to arrival, Casa Aires is situated 3,5 km. from the main road. The track to the house is okay, but it has a few points where you need to drive carefully. The first day, the owner Iolanda will meet you with her van by the main road and guide you to the house. She will show you the points where you will need to drive a bit carefully. If you arrive in a low car fully loaded, she can take some of the suitcases and passengers in her van, so your car is not fully packed. It only takes 8-10 minutes from the main road, so during your stay, you will quickly get used to it. And in return, you will have a house with an incredibly unique location and a fantastic view in beautiful surroundings.

Huset ligger med frit udsyn over de Catalanske pre-pyrenæer i et overraskende frodigt område. Faciliteterne er perfekte, og rengøringen helt klart i topklasse sammenlignet med hvad vi har set andre steder. Poolen er frisk og har en effektiv cirkulation, så den altid fremstår ren og appetitlig. Det bliver ikke bedre!
Hele området byder på nogle usædvanligt smukke naturoplevelser, ligesom Girona også fortjener et besøg. Der er også mulighed for dejlige vandreture i lokalområdet i det nærmest endeløse netværk af grusveje, som fører endnu længere op i bjergene.
De sidste 3.5 km fra hovedvejen til huset foregår via ensporede grusveje, og en SUV anbefales (biler med lav undervogn vil næppe være i stand til at nå frem). Man vænner sig til turen og til at planlægge udflugterne, så man ikke skal køre op og ned af bjerget flere gange om dagen. Der er fremragende restauranter og indkøbsmuligheder i Vic, herunder Consum med masser af lokale delikatesser.

La maison est située avec une vue imprenable sur les pré-Pyrénées catalanes dans une région étonnamment luxuriante. Les installations sont parfaites et le nettoyage vraiment de première classe par rapport à ce que nous avons vu ailleurs. La piscine est fraîche et a une circulation efficace, elle apparaît donc toujours propre et appétissante. Ça ne va pas mieux !
Toute la région offre des expériences naturelles d'une beauté exceptionnelle, tout comme Gérone mérite également une visite. Il y a aussi la possibilité de belles promenades dans la région dans le réseau presque infini de chemins de terre, qui mènent encore plus haut dans les montagnes.
Les derniers 3,5 km de la route principale à la maison se font par des chemins de terre à voie unique et un SUV est recommandé (les voitures à châssis bas pourront difficilement le faire). Vous vous habituez au voyage et à la planification des excursions afin de ne pas avoir à monter et descendre la montagne plusieurs fois par jour. Il y a d'excellents restaurants et magasins à Vic, y compris Consum avec beaucoup de spécialités locales.

The house is located with an unobstructed view over the Catalan pre-Pyrenees in a surprisingly lush area. The facilities are perfect and the cleaning definitely top class compared to what we have seen elsewhere. The pool is fresh and has efficient circulation, so it always appears clean and appetizing. It doesn't get any better!
The whole area offers some exceptionally beautiful natural experiences, just as Girona also deserves a visit. There is also the possibility of lovely walks in the local area in the almost endless network of dirt roads, which lead even further up into the mountains.
The last 3.5 km from the main road to the house is via single track dirt roads and an SUV is recommended (cars with low chassis will hardly be able to make it). You get used to the trip and to planning the excursions so that you don't have to drive up and down the mountain several times a day. There are excellent restaurants and shopping in Vic, including Consum with lots of local delicacies.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour à la casa aires! (Avec 4 couples et 2 enfants) La maison est très agréable, confortable et bien équipée! La vue est vraiment splendide un bonheur de se retrouver au calme et profiter de ce cadre reposant! Quelques petits randonnée et visite de villages charmants nous ont poussé à quitter ce lieu magique! Merci!!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la Casa Aires à deux couples et deux enfants. La maison est très belle, très bien équipée surtout la cuisine, la literie est confortable et les salles de bain magnifiques réalisée avec de beaux matériaux. Cependant, le plus, est son espace extérieur avec une très belle piscine, de l'ombre pour déjeuner, un BBQ de qualité et une grande terrasse. L'accès est un peu difficile et assez long pour rejoindre le premier village mais pour le calme et la vue magnifique que nous avons à la maison, cela vaut largement le coup !

We had a wonderful stay in Casa Aires with two couples and two children. The house is very beautiful, very well equipped, especially the kitchen, the bedding is comfortable and the bathrooms are magnificent, made with beautiful materials. However, the plus is its outdoor space with a very nice swimming pool, shade for lunch, a quality BBQ and a large terrace. Access is a bit difficult and quite long to reach the first village but for the calm and the magnificent view that we have at home, it is well worth it!

We ( 4 adults and 4 teenagers) spent a week at Casa Aires this summer - we would happily have stayed for 2. The house is beautiful - in a stunning location with amazing views over the valley. Waking up each morning to a fabulous temperature inversion with brightly coloured hot air balloons floating just beyond the infinity pool. The house is very well equipped - all the kitchen appliances are of the highest quality and the coffee machine was perfect! The pool house, housing the amazing Weber BBQ. Each room had a lovely en suite, and the beds were amazingly comfortable. We loved the house and will certainly be booking it again, and would recommend it to all our friends.

Nous (4 adultes et 4 adolescents) avons passé une semaine à Casa Aires cet été - nous y serions volontiers restés 2. La maison est magnifique - dans un endroit magnifique avec une vue imprenable sur la vallée. Se réveiller chaque matin avec une fabuleuse inversion de température avec des montgolfières aux couleurs vives flottant juste au-delà de la piscine à débordement. La maison est très bien équipée - tous les appareils de cuisine sont de la plus haute qualité et la machine à café était parfaite ! Le pool house, abritant l'incroyable barbecue Weber. Chaque chambre avait une belle salle de bains privative et les lits étaient incroyablement confortables. Nous avons adoré la maison et nous la réserverons certainement à nouveau et la recommanderons à tous nos amis.
