Welcome to Casa Sionia!

This charming 18th century village house is located in a small Catalan village in Spain's famous wine region of Penedés, just 8 km. from one of the region's main towns Vilafranca de Penedes. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the village and enjoy the location less than 1 hour drive from Barcelona and ½ hour drive to the beaches near Sitges.

House layout:

The house has two floors. On the ground floor, you come from the entrance hall into the large living room with dining table and sofa corner, as well as access to the open kitchen. There is also a bathroom and access to the terrace and garden. Upstairs there are two double rooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, as well as a room with room for three people, divided into a double bed and a single bed.

The outdoor areas:

The private garden has a lovely terrace area with barbecue and a swimming pool where both children and adults can have a dip in the hot summers. The swimming pool is fenced to protect small children.

From the garden there is a view over the Penedes area. On the other side of the very quiet side road there is a playground for smaller children. Further up the road there is also a football pitch.

Location:

Casa Sionia is the perfect starting point if you want a taste of everything Catalonia has to offer. You will be surrounded by the Penedés wine district and have the regional capital Vilafranca 10 minutes away by car. In the other direction Sant Sadurni d'Anoiá where much of Spain's Cava production comes from.

The coast can be reached in 20-25 minutes by car, including the fantastic coastal town of Sitges, and Barcelona can be visited in 40 minutes. In the other direction, historic Tarragona is also really worth a visit!

En absolut god oplevelse...

Vi kom lidt sent igang med søgning af ferier, men lynhurtigt kom Sydens Feriehuse med både relevante og ledige muligheder i vores ønskede periode.

Stedet skuffede ikke. Billeder og virkeligheden stemte helt overens og vi blev taget super imod da vi ankommer. Alt blev gennemgået til vi var trygge og så var det jo bare at nyde 2 uger i den spanske sol.

Et hyggeligt og autentisk hus med plads til hygge og afslapning i den fine pool, og helt perfekt var det at kunne nyde dagens måltider på den lækre terrasse.

En klar anbefaling af både Sydens Feriehuse og Casa Sionia.

We started searching for holidays a little late, but Sydens Feriehuse quickly came up with both relevant and available options in our desired period.

The place did not disappoint. Pictures and reality matched perfectly and we were welcomed super when we arrived. Everything was reviewed until we were safe and then it was just a matter of enjoying 2 weeks in the Spanish sun.

A cozy and authentic house with space for coziness and relaxation in the nice pool, and it was absolutely perfect to be able to enjoy the day's meals on the delicious terrace.

A clear recommendation of both Sydens Feriehuse and Casa Sionia.

Nous avons commencé à chercher des vacances un peu tard, mais Sydens Feriehuse nous a rapidement proposé des options pertinentes et disponibles pour la période souhaitée.

L'endroit n'a pas déçu. Les images et la réalité correspondaient parfaitement et nous avons été super bien accueillis à notre arrivée. Tout a été revu jusqu'à ce que nous soyons en sécurité, puis il ne s'agissait plus que de profiter de 2 semaines sous le soleil espagnol.

Une maison chaleureuse et authentique avec un espace de confort et de détente dans la belle piscine, et c'était absolument parfait de pouvoir profiter des repas de la journée sur la délicieuse terrasse.

Une recommandation claire de Sydens Feriehuse et de Casa Sionia.

Myself and the family just returned from a short stay here. A wonderful typically authentic Catalan experience. The pool was a major plus and the location allowed us to explore the local region as it is within driving distance for day trips to Sitges, Tarragona, Reus and Barcelona ( Car hire recommended ) Josep and his wife were very welcoming and all essentials ( inc little extras such as washing detergent / soap / dishwasher tabs ) were provided - The bottle of Cava on arrival was also a lovely gesture - highly recommend Casa Sionia for a rural escape - Thank You

Ma famille et moi venons de rentrer d'un court séjour ici. Une merveilleuse expérience typiquement catalane authentique. La piscine était un avantage majeur et l'emplacement nous a permis d'explorer la région car elle est accessible en voiture pour des excursions d'une journée à Sitges, Tarragone, Reus et Barcelone (location de voiture recommandée). Josep et sa femme étaient très accueillants et disposaient de tout le nécessaire (incl. de petits extras tels que du détergent à lessive, du savon et des tablettes pour lave-vaisselle) ont été fournis - La bouteille de Cava à l'arrivée était également un geste charmant - je recommande vivement Casa Sionia pour une escapade à la campagne - Merci
