Fantastic large holiday home situated in the middle of  village

To find a huge house that can accommodate many guests, located in the heart of a Village, and which also has a large garden with a large swimming pool, seems impossible. It is actually almost impossible, but we managed to find such a house: Masia de las Flores.

The house is like a small oasis in the middle of a cosy and nice village, and with the large garden, a swimming pool, an overall high standard and a beautiful design, it will provide a solid base for a wonderful holiday in Catalonia. The house is perfect for those who want to go on holiday together with many people, or if you want lots of space to relax on.

The unique thing about this holiday house is the combination of the town and garden area with pool, which offers many activities: In the pool, which has a size of 72 m2and is fenced, you can swim, play or just cool off in the heat, and you can relax on the sun loungers beside. On the large lawn, you can play ball games, there are swings for the little ones in the holiday group, and you can play table tennis. Moreover, on the ground floor, there is a small game room with billiards and table football. Further, down the street, there is a bakery, supermarkets and bars. In Masia de las Flores, you can both stay with lovely facilities in the backyard and shops close to the front door - this is not something common.

In the garden, just by the house, there is a huge covered terrace where there is a large BBQ grill and an outdoor kitchen. Next to this, there is a long dining table. Here you can both cook and enjoy the homemade dinner during the warm evening hours.

The house is situated next to the great church of the town, and you enter the holiday house directly from the beautiful church square. When you step into the Masia de las Flores, which has a size of 710 m2, you meet a beautiful living room with large, comfortable sofas and a flat screen TV. The inside of the home is very beautiful: The curved ceiling and the beautiful, arched doorways provide a great, spacious atmosphere. Here, on the ground floor, there is also a kitchen, and connected to this, there is a long dining table.

Like the rest of the holiday house, the bedrooms are of a high standard - the owners have really put effort in the design. They are all decorated differently, but what they share are their spaciousness and quality. When you are travelling many people together, it can be nice to pull back and enjoy the peacefulness alone, and the bedrooms are perfect for this. In total on the first and second floor, there are 11 bedrooms - 7 of them are double and 4 are triple rooms. These include a girl's bedroom with pink bedding and a boy's room with blue beds. 7 of the bedrooms have their own en suite bathroom, where three of them have bathtubs. There are 8 modern and spacious bathrooms in the apartment.

If you are looking for a holiday home in high quality, with lots of space, and with a unique location, that contains both town life and privacy, you have found the house. Many holiday homes have a large garden and pool, but they are often far from supermarkets, restaurants and the villages - this house has both. 

As the house is situated inside a village, it is important to respect the neighbours. It is of course no problem to enjoy the garden and pool-area in during the day and in the evenings, but late-night parties are not possible in this villa.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Masia de las Flores. The Villa was ideal for my family and everyone, especially the grandkids loved the pool. The village has everything you need within easy walking distance, although most things closed on Mondays. Bakery is great for coffee and croissants etc and good meat for the bbq from the butcher. Easy to get to Banyoles and Girona for days out and restaurants.

Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques en famille à Masia de las Flores. La villa était idéale pour ma famille et tout le monde, en particulier les petits-enfants, a adoré la piscine. Le village a tout ce dont vous avez besoin à distance de marche, bien que la plupart des choses soient fermées le lundi. La boulangerie est idéale pour le café et les croissants, etc. et la bonne viande pour le barbecue du boucher. Facile d'accès à Banyoles et à Gérone pour les sorties et les restaurants.

A fabulous house for our whole family, grandparents, children, grandchildren a total of nineteen. The house was immaculate and very well equipped, Eve, the owner speaks English and was very helpful. The pool, fully fenced, was ideal for all including a two year old who was swimming at the end of our week!
GREAT PLACE, no complaints at all, we will certainly try and come again!

La maison était impeccable et très bien équipée, Eve, la propriétaire parle anglais et était très serviable. La casa estaba impecable y muy bien equipada, Eve, la dueña habla inglés y fue muy servicial. ¡La piscina, completamente cercada, era ideal para todos, incluido un niño de dos años que estaba nadando al final de nuestra semana!
GRAN LUGAR, no tengo ninguna queja, ¡sin duda intentaremos volver!

Our group of 12 stayed at Masia de las Flores in September 2021. It couldn't have been more perfect for our cycling vacation. The house is very comfortable with many ensuite bathrooms for each couple to have their own room. The furnishings, and tile work were beautiful, and...lots of hot water for showers after a cycling day. The owner, Eva, was most accommodating and helpful, even stopping by to be sure we had all we needed. The large outside dining table was our main gathering place with lots of room. The inside table is just a big and cozy on cooler mornings. The wood fired bbq was perfect for burgers, and there was a dedicated paella fire ring with it's own propane bottle and pan that made perfect paella. The pool was wonderfully clean, the chaise lounges were nice, with some under a nice pergola. The parking is more than adequate for our 4 vehicles and the yard was just about perfect. Washer and cloths line included so that was good. The kitchen was well stocked including two refrigerators and a large freezer. All in all one of the best places we've stayed in 9 years of villas.

Notre groupe de 12 personnes a séjourné à la Masia de las Flores en septembre 2021. Cela n'aurait pas pu être plus parfait pour nos vacances à vélo. La maison est très confortable avec de nombreuses salles de bain attenantes pour que chaque couple ait sa propre chambre. Le mobilier et le carrelage étaient magnifiques et... beaucoup d'eau chaude pour les douches après une journée de vélo. La propriétaire, Eva, était très arrangeante et serviable, s'arrêtant même pour s'assurer que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. La grande table à manger à l'extérieur était notre principal lieu de rassemblement avec beaucoup d'espace. La table intérieure est juste une grande et confortable les matins plus frais. Le barbecue au feu de bois était parfait pour les hamburgers, et il y avait un anneau de feu dédié à la paella avec sa propre bouteille de propane et sa casserole qui faisaient une paella parfaite. La piscine était merveilleusement propre, les chaises longues étaient agréables, certaines sous une belle pergola. Le parking est plus que suffisant pour nos 4 véhicules et la cour était à peu près parfaite. Ligne de laveuse et de linge incluse, donc c'était bien. La cuisine était bien équipée avec deux réfrigérateurs et un grand congélateur. Dans l'ensemble, l'un des meilleurs endroits où nous ayons séjourné dans 9 ans de villas.

A wonderful spacious villa for our family holiday, enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us all in comfort. Enough sun loungers round the pool too!
Good location, just 15 minutes from Girona and just over an hour to Barcelona.
The village had a bakery and small supermarket within easy walking distance.
We loved the long table outside where we took most of our meals including a very large paella that we made in the large paella pan supplied!
I have no hesitation recommending this villa.
