Casa de las Piñas is a beautiful rural house located in Berga, Berguedà (in the countryside but only 2.5 km from the city center). 18th century farmhouse restored to offer the best comfort and live a unique rural experience.

The house is divided into three levels. The ground floor, with access to the outside, is the part for dining room, kitchen and common areas, this floor has a double bedroom and a community bathroom.

On the first floor we find a leisure room with fireplace and 4 double rooms with private bathroom.

The second floor, with sloping ceilings, has 4 double bedrooms with private bathrooms and a leisure or meeting room with sofas. All rooms offer an excellent panoramic view of the area.

The house has a fantastic garden with the view to the Pyrenees starting just after Berga, and with a big swimming pool of 10 x 5 meters, which can be covered to extend the season for swimming.  The swimming pool is fenced for the security of small children.

For the evenings or on a hot summer day, the covered terrace equipped with water, fridge and barbecue is perfect for a relaxing meal.

Une magnifique maison, nous étions 15 dont 4 enfants en bas âge et rien ne manquait.
La partie « Pool House » est idéale, la piscine est bien sécurisée, il y a beaucoup de jeux pour enfants, bref rien à redire sur ce fabuleux logements.

A magnificent house, there were 15 of us including 4 young children and nothing was missing.
The “Pool House” part is ideal, the swimming pool is well secured, there are plenty of games for children, in short, nothing to complain about this fabulous accommodation.

We stayed at the house in August 2023 and it was absolutely fabulous. Gemma the owner met us on arrival to show us around and left us with delicious fresh bread, milk and a meat platter; what a lovely touch. The house was perfect; it was very large and spacious and all the rooms were tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless. The outside kitchen/dining room was ideal for our large family group of 23 and it was the most used room of the holiday. The outside grassed area was really well kept and the pool was great with plenty of sunbeds. The location is great with fantastic views. About a 20 minute pleasant walk into Berga which has loads of supermarkets, butchers, restaurants and bars so everything you need. A visit to the dam is worthwhile and we rented kayaks on the reservoir which was fun. A trip to Monserrat is recommended as it is amazing; we took the cable car to the top which was easy and quick. We also discovered a fantastic swimming area near the medieval Pont de Pedret. It's about a 4.5km walk from the carpark at Cal Rosal, but well worth it if you take a picnic with you. I would highly recommend Casa de las Pinas, we had a magical time and were sad to leave.

Nous avons séjourné dans la maison en août 2023 et c'était absolument fabuleux. Gemma, la propriétaire, nous a accueillis à notre arrivée pour nous faire visiter et nous a laissé un délicieux pain frais, du lait et un plateau de viande; quelle belle touche. La maison était parfaite ; c'était très grand et spacieux et toutes les chambres étaient décorées avec goût et absolument impeccables. La cuisine / salle à manger extérieure était idéale pour notre grand groupe familial de 23 personnes et c'était la pièce la plus utilisée des vacances. La pelouse extérieure était vraiment bien entretenue et la piscine était super avec plein de transats. L'emplacement est super avec des vues fantastiques. À environ 20 minutes de marche agréable de Berga, qui regorge de supermarchés, de bouchers, de restaurants et de bars, donc tout ce dont vous avez besoin. Une visite au barrage vaut la peine et nous avons loué des kayaks sur le réservoir, ce qui était amusant. Un voyage à Monserrat est recommandé car c'est incroyable; nous avons pris le téléphérique jusqu'au sommet, ce qui était facile et rapide. Nous avons également découvert une zone de baignade fantastique près du pont médiéval de Pedret. Il se trouve à environ 4,5 km à pied du parking de Cal Rosal, mais cela en vaut la peine si vous emportez un pique-nique avec vous. Je recommanderais vivement la Casa de las Pinas, nous avons passé un moment magique et étions tristes de partir.

The house is fantastic and we would definitely recommend it and give it 5 star rating. It was so spotless and clean, well equipped and very spacious. We were a group of 19 (age 5-82) and it was perfect for our needs. The house was a 20-25min walk to the town and was nice to have the town nearby but also to be able to stay in the peace of the countryside with views of the mountains. The owners brought us fresh milk and cream from their farm when we arrived. Thank you Bertel for finding us the house and to Gemma and team for making our stay at the house so lovely.

La maison est fantastique et nous la recommanderions sans hésiter et lui donnerions une note de 5 étoiles. C'était tellement impeccable et propre, bien équipé et très spacieux. Nous étions un groupe de 19 (âgés de 5 à 82 ans) et c'était parfait pour nos besoins. La maison était à 20-25 minutes à pied de la ville et c'était agréable d'avoir la ville à proximité mais aussi de pouvoir rester dans le calme de la campagne avec vue sur les montagnes. Les propriétaires nous ont apporté du lait frais et de la crème de leur ferme à notre arrivée. Merci Bertel de nous avoir trouvé la maison et à Gemma et à son équipe d'avoir rendu notre séjour à la maison si agréable.
