Not far from the house you’ll find a charming village that fulfils all basic needs with a bakery, grocery stores, some restaurants and more - and within walking distance you’ll find wonderful vistas all around. Also not far from the house are excellent walking trails for sublime views, serene picnic spots and a handy kayak rental store – and further away still, you’ll find a balloon flight station, star gazing spots as well as vineyards and their delectable selection of taste testing Catalan wine. Fully refurbished and well equipped, the house possesses a modern, yet inviting, rustic style with high quality finishes. Bright, spacious and welcoming, the house’s various areas are perfect for gatherings, an afternoon of board games, evenings by the heat of the fire and long nights good of wine and conversation.
The house has 3 floors. There are 8 bathrooms - 7 ensuite and 1 shared - and 7 bedrooms in total - 6 double rooms, and 1 single room – each room is equipped with parquet floors and their its own bathroom. Perfect for the young and old alike.
There is a kitchen-pantry with all necessary appliances, a beautiful dining room with a fireplace, a cozy living room with a TV, and 1 shared bathroom. Finally, a large porch, sporting a BBQ grill, table with benches, ping-pong table, football table, and a fridge completes the house’s splendour, offering you the option to spend your mornings, afternoons or evenings there – by yourself or with others.
On the ground floor you will find the main entrance, the TV living room, children’s furniture, and 1 double room with a bathroom.
On the first floor you’ll find 2 double rooms with their respective bathrooms, 1 triple room with its bathroom, and 1 twin-bedded room with a bathroom.
On the second floor you will find 1 double room with a bathroom, 1 twin-bedded room with its bathroom, 1 shared bathroom, a dining room and another living room – and finally, the kitchen-pantry.
Outside the house you’ll find a outdoor table with four chairs, a wooden bench, 6 sunbeds and a swing. In addition, there is a swimming pool under construction, slated to be completed around May.
Casa Callet is nested in a beautiful, mountainous landscape of pine, oak and holm oak forests – north of the house there are serene grazing pastures for cows and sheep. You may even see some wild animals like boars, deer, goats and owls. Take scenic walks, pick mushrooms, enjoy the starlight sky at night, or revel in symphonic sounds of nature; Vall de Lord is filled to the brim with abundant beauty all around.
Near the house - less than a minute away - you’ll also find places such as the Barata torrent to dip your feet into, authentic paster kilns from the 17th-19th centuries or visit the Centennial holm oak trees in the mesmerising forests. Additionally, next to the house is the hermitage of St Lleïr, - and about 30 minutes away is the Llosa del Cavall reservoir where you can practice water activities
Further away from the house you can enjoy some of the best views and sights at Cap de Balç, the high rock walls of the Sierra de Busa and the impressive, panoramic view of the valley from the nearby chapel. From there, you can gaze out over nearby charming town, the Port del Comte mountain range and much more.
In the close-by town, you will multiple bars and restaurants, a bakery, pharmacy, grocery store, and a public swimming pool.
30 minutes of driving away, in Solsona, you’ll find busses connecting you to the rest of Catalonia – Barcelona, Tarragona, Girona and much more.
