Casa Consol is a very authentic Catalan Holiday Home, surrounded by fields and with a beautiful view to the Pyrenees, and still less than 2 km. from the lively village of Gironella, where you can find all kind of shops, supermarket and a weekly market day in the antique town part on the left side of the river Llobregat that divides the village in two.  

The house is the perfect base for the active as well as the relaxed holiday guest. You can decide to relax in the sun loungers by the swimming pool, or find shade under one of the beautiful oaks, or perhaps walk down to the village to have a café con leche or a glass of local wine at one of the cafés.

If you want some exercise, the house has loads of facilities. Indoor you find the activity hall with table tennis, table football and billiard, not unmarked by the time but still functional. Outside, the multi-court with hard surface makes it possible to play football, basketball and tennis. You will find some basic rackets and balls in the house. If you want more fancy equipment we recommend that you bring your own.

In 2010, the antique house was extended with a beautiful porch of glass, with fully equipped kitchen and barbecue. In the off-season, you feel like dining outside without being cold and in the summer, the entire facade can open, and the porch can be used as a very big, covered terrace. From here, you can also keep an eye on what is going on in the garden and by the pool.

The main house has three floors with in total 8 bedrooms, 7 of them bathrooms ensuite, and one has a bathroom just outside the room. On first floor there is a big common room with another fully equipped kitchen, dining table and living area with TV.  

At the ground floor, to the left, there is a double room with double bed, and access to the activity room. To the right, there is a big bedroom with 4 single beds. At the first floor, there is a bedroom in each end of the sitting room.. To the left a bedroom with 3 single beds and to the right a double room with double beds. Finally at the second floor, there are four double rooms with double beds.

If you want to enjoy the sparkling experience of the indoor Swimming pool/ jacuzzi, this is offered as an extra service against supplement. Please ask for details, if you consider booking this service. This must be booked in advance.

Maison magnifique et très agréable. Proche des commerces, Très bien équipée et proposant différentes activités pour les enfants. Le terrain est un peu ombragé. Les propriétaires sont très agreables et leur restaurant très gourmands.

Magnifique.
Nous avons passé 2 semaines magnifique le lieu est isolé avec une vue superbe mais en même temps à proximité des commences et centre ville.
La villa est très bien équipée et vraiment bien aménagée. La cuisine est centré sur le jardin est permet davoir vue sur tt le jardin et ses fenêtres sont très pratiques.
Une table en extérieur pourrait être un plus. Les hôtes sont très sympathique et très discret encore merci à eux.
Nous reviendrons à coup sûr.

Wonderful.
We spent 2 wonderful weeks the place is isolated with a superb view but at the same time close to the beginnings and the city center.
The villa is very well equipped and really well appointed. The kitchen is centered on the garden and allows you to have a view of the garden and its windows are very practical.
A table outside could be a plus. The hosts are very friendly and very discreet again thank you to them.
We will definitely come back.

Casa Consol is a wonderful villa. Clean, beautiful and with all the amenities you could need for a fantastic holiday. Our group of 12 included 6 kids of different ages, from teenagers to toddlers, and everyone was happy and entertained the whole time we were there. While Gironella is a small & sleepy village, it had everything we needed for our stay and we would wholeheartedly recommend this holiday to anyone.

Casa Consol est une magnifique villa. Propre, beau et avec toutes les commodités dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour des vacances fantastiques. Notre groupe de 12 personnes comprenait 6 enfants d'âges différents, des adolescents aux tout-petits, et tout le monde était heureux et s'est amusé pendant tout notre séjour. Bien que Gironella soit un petit village endormi, il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour notre séjour et nous recommanderions sans réserve ces vacances à tout le monde.

The location was excellent and beautiful. Not far from boating and hiking and town with a large supermarket. Travelling with an extended family we needed to be fairly close to a store. The host was wonderful. The internet is really only available in part of the house. Workable on a vacation. We loved our time in Casa Consol.
The bed rooms were perfectly set up for our family, they are on three floors. the first floor has a double and a room with 4 beds and a large bathroom. That was great for one family. The second has two bedrooms, a double and two singles I believe, with another large bathroom, we put another family there. Top floor has four bedrooms with double beds each with its own small bathroom. I could not have chosen a better house. The grounds are fenced in, the pool is fenced in. It was great.

I forbindelse med vores runde fødselsdage - sommeren 2018 - havde vi besluttet at invitere vores børn og børnebørn på ferie i Catalonien. Vi brugte meget tid på at finde et egnet sted/hus, med aktivitets muligheder, kombineret med afslapning og oplevelser, samt værelser og plads til os alle. Vi var 17 afsted med et aldersspend fra 3 til 70 år.

Vi valgte casa Consol - og sikke et valg. Huset levede til fulde op til vores forventninger, med gode og rummelige værelser med eget badeværelse.
Alt sammen rent og pænt Aktiviteter var der nok af, men sommervarmen gjorde at området omkring poolen var det foretrukne.
Den store nye udestue var perfekt og et naturligt samlingssted til både vore måltider og til brædtspil mm.
Hvis vi endelig skulle sætte en finger på noget, syntes vi køkkenudstyret var ret begrænset, men det lærte vi hurtigt at leve med.

Vi har alle virkelig fået gode og dejlige minder med hjem til danmark, og kan varmt anbefale Casa Consol, hvis man som vi, er en stor familie,
