Casa de Cardona is a traditionel Catalan farmhouse from the 18th Century. The house has an exceptional location, just 3 km. from the beautiful town of Cardona, which has a classic village center with a few shops and restaurants, a beautiful Cathedral and not least, a gigantic castle that stands out on top of the town and definitely is worth a visit. The city has a market every Sunday year round.
Casa de Cardona is of 250 squaremeters and can accommodate up to 16 +4 guests. It has 6 bedrooms - 2 double rooms and 4 triple rooms. There are also 6 bathrooms in Casa De Cardona, 4 of which are en suite.
We imagine that you will spend most of your time outside in the lush, green garden or soaking up sun by the pool.
On the 1st floor you will find two common rooms, one of which is a large and beautifully decorated dining room with the classic Spanish refectory table, as a focal point. There is also plenty of opportunity to eat outside on the covered terrace, where you will find a BBQ and a small outdoor kitchen with a sink. The perfect place to enjoy traditional catalan food and a drink on the warm summer nights.
The lounge area has several couches. There is a kitchen adjacent to the dining room and adjacent to the lounge area. The kitchen has all modern amenities such as dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster and fridge and freezer. The holiday home also has a washing machine for laundry.
From the garden there is access to a gameroom with table tennis and a soccer field, perfect for the kids! Casa de Cardona is located in the very heart of Catalonia, hence there is only a one hour drive to Barcelona, Costa Brava, Andorra and the French border, creating the possibility of many different day trips, depending on what you prefer!
