On a mountainside in the central Catalonia, the unique holiday home Casa Santador is situated. It is completely renovated and therefore offers everything that is necessary to create the perfect environment for a successful holiday. There are in this holiday home room for 10 persons, which gives plenty of room for 2-3 families.
Completely unique to this house is the location. Firstly, the location on the mountainside gives a fantastic view - according to the owner, you can in good weather see all the way to the mountain range Montserrat near Barcelona. Furthermore, two bedrooms on the first floor have a shared balcony where the view can be enjoyed. Secondly, the location gives a unique privacy and peaceful atmosphere: There are no noisy neighbors, only you and the nature. However, the privacy does not mean that the nearest village is far away. There is a path of 1,5 km from the house down to a small authentic village, where you can find some small cafés and a supermarket. Gironella, a cozy town with about 5000 inhabitants, is situated just 4 km away, while the regional capital is 12 miles away.
Casa Santadors location is just absolutely perfect - in private settings and relatively close to restaurants and supermarkets. The area offers great opportunities for hiking. The most obvious route, and perhaps most exciting, is up to the top of the mountain. From here you can see with binoculars the Mediterranean and Mallorca.
There is on the ground floor a spacious living room, where there is a cozy sitting area with a TV and a fireplace. Connected to this there are a dining room and a modern kitchen, which has a dishwasher, a microwave, a refrigerator and a freezer. Furthermore, there is on the lower floor a double bedroom with a bathroom with shower. If you walk the stairs to the first floor you are met by four bedrooms - two of them have access to a shared balcony. From this you can enjoy the sunset in the evening - or the sunrise in the morning. There is also a bathroom with bathtub on this floor.
Especially the outdoor facilities stand out. The largest and clearly the favorite facility among children is of course the pool, which has a size of 32 m2. It is fenced, so you can decide when the younger children should be able to use the pool. Furthermore, you can from the balcony watch the kids in the pool. The huge covered patio is right next to the pool. Here there are an outdoor dining table and a BBQ. Here you can cook and enjoy homemade meals. This will probably be the natural meeting point of the holiday. There is also table tennis here.
