Casa Torres is a beautifully situated limestone house from 15^th century, situated on a hilltop with panoramic views to the Pyrenees. The most impressive detail is the indoor swimming pool which is surrounded by stone walls in lower floor of the house - a unique solution. A couple of years ago, an outdoor swimming pool was added to the many facilities of the house. It is fenced for the protection of young children.

The 450 m2 in total divided on three floors has been renovated with respect for the rustic style and offers a fully equipped kitchen, a beautiful curved living room with fireplace, six double bedrooms and a triple room, all with bathroom ensuite. As mentioned, there is indoor swimming pool, which allows swimming all year round.

The kitchen is equipped with two refrigerators, one with freezer, ceramic hotplates, oven, microwave, dishwasher, juice presses, coffee maker, toaster, blender, toaster, and a paella pan for 15-20 persons.

The house has plenty of facilities, eg. washing machine, table tennis, billiard tables and playground. For families, there are two cots and a high chair available.

The house is privately situated and surrounded by a lovely garden with covered terrace and a large lawn. As mentioned, there is a playground for smaller children.

The advantage of the geography of Catalonia is that Barcelona is situated in the middle. You can reach Barcelona in 1-1½ hours from most of our holiday homes, so it is easy to visit the city during your stay. In addition, many choose to combine a stay in the country side with an apartment in Barcelona before or after the vacation in one of our Spanish villas.

Venons de passer 1 semaine à la Casa Torres : 7 enfants et 5 adultes. Très belle maison avec beaucoup de goût dans la décoration. Elle est très fonctionnelle. Chaque chambre dispose de sa SDB privée (un vrai plus). La piscine extérieure est de bonne dimension, nous avons apprécié la pergola en bois et les transat permettant d'être abrités du soleil.
Le jardin dispose de 2 parties de gazon très bien entretenues propices à des parties de foot!
Le coin terrasse est très pratique pour y manger d'une part pour sa vue sur la campagne adjacente et pour sa dimension et commodités sur place.
Le plus de la maison est : sa piscine chauffée intérieure. Petits et grands s'y sont régalés lorsque le temps était orageux et températures plus fraîches.

We just spent a week at Casa Torres: 7 children and 5 adults. A beautiful house with tasteful decor. It's very functional. Each bedroom has its own private bathroom (a real plus). The outdoor pool is a good size, and we appreciated the wooden pergola and sun loungers that provided shade.
The garden has two well-maintained lawn areas, perfect for a game of football!
The terrace area is very convenient for dining, both for its view of the surrounding countryside and for its size and amenities.
The best thing about the house is its heated indoor pool. Both children and adults enjoyed it when the weather was stormy and cooler.
From the house, you can go for a jog or walk your dog in the beautiful surrounding countryside. We were lucky enough to see some deer up close.
What we particularly appreciated was the responsiveness and availability of the owner, Joan. His family home is extraordinary.
Depuis la maison, il est possible de partir faire un footing ou promener son chien dans la magnifique campagne avoisinante. Nous avons eu la chance de voir de près des chevreuils.
Ce que nous avons énormément apprécié est la réactivité et disponibilité du propriétaire, Joan.
Sa maison de famille est extraordinaire.

Vraiment super. Au calme très jolie vue, piscine extérieure et intérieure très chouette. Coin barbecue super pour faire la fête le soir sans embêter ceux qui dorment dans la maison.

Au calme, située sur une colline, offrant une vue panoramique sur les Pyrénées et le site de Montserrat, la "Casa Torres" est un lieu de vacances à recommander !

La maison répartie sur trois étages est immense, et suffisamment spacieuse pour un groupe d'une quinzaine de personnes avec 7 chambres, 7 salles de bains, une immense salle de vie ( salon, salle à manger, cuisine), une salle de jeux au dernier étage, ainsi qu'un immense abri extérieur où il est possible de cuisiner et prendre ses repas.

Mais c'est surtout le fait de pouvoir profiter d'une piscine extérieure en journée, et d'une piscine intérieure chauffée en soirée qui en font un lieu exceptionnel !
La piscine creusée dans la cave voutée est vraiment unique !

Quelques fermes aux alentours.
Ballades et randonnées sont possibles dans les environs (le village de Montclar, situé à 3kms, est charmant).
Supermarchés à 20 minutes ( Berga ).

C'est l'endroit idéal pour profiter de vacances en famille ou entre amis.

We had a great time in the house, enjoying inside and outside swimming pools. The house is perfect for big groups, allowing time for rest but also to enjoy holidays together. Clean, well furbished and support from the landlord if needed. Highly recommended!
