Unique holiday in beautiful surroundings, with best terrace ever and highly luxurious!

In the Solsona region of Catalonia, Spain you´ll find the very beautiful holiday home Masia Laveña, better characterized as a Castell (castle) than a Masia (very large house). The couple Jemma and Martí has ​​put a large portion of energy, love and investment in creating the best environment for the large holiday group. They have thought of every detail, both practical and design-wise! The house consists of 360 m2 and can accommodate 14 +4 guests. The house is spread over three floors and here are a total of 7 bedrooms, all with private bath in the rooms. All rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms are exceptionally delicious. You can, if anywhere, really feel surrounded by luxury and the feeling of wellbeing must enrich every holiday experience in Masia Laveña. None of the furniture is bought in Ikea or similar furniture dealers, but the entire family has helped the couple finding the right antique furniture for the rental home. This has created a unique and authentic feeling when you are staying in the house.

Besides the many beautiful rooms in the villa, you´ll find an elegant dining room where the kitchen - very practical - is placed in extension. The kitchen is bright and tastefully and here are all modern amenities such as; Dishwasher, 2 coffee makers, fine oven, refrigerator / freezer, microwave etc. The common room also encounters the lounge area, so here you can sit and enjoy a glass of wine while the food is prepared.

In the house is a computer and there is WI-FI.


You will probably prefer to get the best out of the weather and choose to dine outside instead and Masia Laveña has the best outdoor patio we have ever seen in a holiday rental home (and we have probably visited 500 homes). Here is an excellent outdoor kitchen with BBQ, gas hob, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. The outdoor kitchen is an extension of the large patio table and on the covered terrace there is also a really nice little sofa area. The terrace is also perfectly located as it is overlooking the pool area. You can then relax at the pool and quickly enjoy a cold drink from the fridge on the terrace. While preparing the dinner you can still enjoy the summer life around the swimming pool with your friend or family. With entrance from the the terrace is even another indoor dining room built very beautifully in rustic surroundings.

The swimming pool is 11x4 meters and has a small cascading feature. There are lots of great sun loungers and the pool area has a picturesque view. Behind the house is a small library with billiards and a table tennis.

Right by the entrance to the house there is also a toilet, in order that you do not have to go up.


The house is situated in very private and beautiful surroundings. From here you choose among many great day trips. There are 90 km. to the state of Andorra, which has among the world's best spas (if you wish to get spoiled). The city of Barcelona is 137 km. from the house (here is also beaches) and the Costa Brava coast is almost 200 km. from Masia Laveña. The nearest golf course is located 15 km. from the house.

La maison est superbe. Elle est très isolée, et bien équipée. Nous avons même utilisé le fourneau à bois ! Un salle de bain par chambre, c'est un grand confort. La propriétaire est accueillante, et disponible en cas de besoin. Quelle que soit la raison, elle se déplace dans la journée pour régler le problème. Comme la piscine n'est pas très profonde ni très grande, elle est vite saturée. Mais avec son emplacement à proximité de l'espace de vie avec cuisine extérieure, elle est vraiment agréable.

The house is superb. It is very isolated, and well equipped. We even used the wood stove! One bathroom per bedroom, it is a great comfort. The owner is welcoming, and available if needed. Whatever the reason, she comes during the day to solve the problem. As the pool is not very deep or very big, it gets saturated. But with its location near the living space with outdoor kitchen, it is really nice.

Alquilamos la masía 6 días para navidad. Eramos 13 adultos y 4 niños. Quedamos todos encantados con el lugar y el alojamiento. Todo funciona a la perfección, está totalmente equipada, el lugar es increíble, rodeado de naturaleza. Nos han recibido muy bien y ya estamos pensando cuando volver. Muchas gracias!

Nous avons loué le mas pendant 6 jours pour Noël. Nous étions 13 adultes et 4 enfants. Nous avons tous été ravis du lieu et du logement. Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette maison familiale, elle correspond exactement à ce que nous voulons tous les ans car nous venons à 3 familles.
Tout était propre et bien équipé.
Le gros plus: la grand terrasse devant le jardin et la piscine avec sa cuisine d'extérieur. Nous avons passé tout notre séjour à cet endroit.
La piscine traité au sel est également très agréable et en plus la plage pour les enfants est très agréable aussi pour les grands
Quelques points d'amélioration:
- mettre à disposition un système efficace contre les mouches
- entretien de la salle de jeux (raquette et billard)

Depuis qu'on loue par votre agence, cette maison est dans le top 3

Everything was clean and well equipped.
The big plus: the large terrace in front of the garden and the swimming pool with its outdoor kitchen. We spent our entire stay at this place.
The salt-treated swimming pool is also very pleasant and in addition the beach for children is also very pleasant for adults.

- maintenance of the games room (racket and billiards)

We stayed here for a week, everything from booking to cleanliness and upkeep were incredible. Bertel was extremely helpful before the holiday and our host were just as charming when we arrived. The villa is even better than the pictures with All the furnishings finished to an extremely high standard. The outdoor area and kitchen were highlights for us as it made cooking a much more communal and enjoyable experience. Overall 10/10.
