The majority of our authentic holiday homes are located a little outside the cities, but in Can de Rogell you have the opportunity to live peacefully and scenically, and yet with a large village with restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance!
Can de Rogell is surprisingly private, high in the countryside on the edge of a mountainside, which offers the most beautiful view over the village and with the Pyrenees as the beautiful backdrop. At the same time, it has a huge garden with a nice pool area and a large green field with a football goal.
The swimming pool is 8 x 4 meters and also overlooks the countryside. And for the hot summer days, Xavi and Mabel have made a permanent cover, so those of you who would like some shade have the option of that. It also has a staircase on one side, which makes it ideal for smaller children.
Can de Rogell was newly renovated in 2021 to a high standard. The beautiful panoramic view is integrated into the design with a huge window in the family room on; the first hall, which almost makes the view feel like a painting.
Since the house is located on a slope, the first floor has almost direct access from the parking lot, where via a large terrace you enter the large living room with the modern and very well-equipped kitchen, dining area with a beautiful long wooden table; and sofa area with sofas, TV and fireplace. In addition, there is a large double room with direct access to the terrace and a fully equipped bathroom with shower.
The lower floor is level with the garden and a beautiful wrought iron staircase connects it with the Rest Hall. Here is a room with playfuls for smaller B & oslash; rn, a small utility room with washing machine, and s & aring; There are 2 bathrooms with showers. There are three bedrooms, two of them double rooms.
One of these rooms has a double bed and the other has two single beds, which can be arranged as a twin room or a double room. As the house is intended for families with children, the last slightly larger rooms are furnished with three quality bunk beds, so that older children or adults can also sleep if necessary. There is thus room for up to 6 people here.
From here there is direct access to the garden and a terrace area & aring; those with a large table for outdoor & oslash; rs dining . To the left are also arranged barbecue area & aring; de , s & aring; You can grill while enjoying the view of the valley, and m & aring; a glass of local wine.
As mentioned, the location allows you to walk to the town centre and have lunch or have a glass of wine, and there is also a nice path along the Llobregát river if you like a walk or a bike ride. Up at Berga there is also a dammed lake, where it is possible to rent kayaks and canoes. If you are looking for more challenging walking, there are plenty of routes in the Pyrenees and the local tourist office has great information. There is also a padel center (5 minutes by car) where you can book courts. We and the owners are happy to help.
The house is located on the C-16 motorway, which fortunately cannot h & oslash; res from the house. It offers the advantage that it is easy to drive on excursion from the house. Depending on interest, you can drive up into the Pyrenees or in and take a ”big city day” in Barcelona, or maybe drive to Penedés and visit vineyards, maybe with a final swim at the beach in Sitges. All within a 45-90 minute drive.
