With Can de Batiña, Eva and her family has made an impressive job in transforming an unused stone house into a fantastic holiday home of a standard, which few other houses can match. And not to speak about the situation in the mountains over Olot, you only see mountain tops, green fields, we can only recommend that you come and spend your deserved holiday in this peaceful settings.
The house has simply all your need. If you want to eat out, there is a very big covered terrace with a complete outdoor kitchen, so you will not have to enter the house to get table ware and to cook. If you prefer to sit in the sun, the entire courtyard/square between the buildings is paved, so you can just sit where you prefer. If you want a nice piece of meat, there is also a barbecue.
The big pool area is the natural point for relaxation. There are plenty of sun loungers, and if it gets too hot, you can just take a swimm in the big swimming pool of 12 x 7 meters, or you can benefit from the shade under the pergola at the end of the swimming pool.
Inside in the ground floor, there is even a Spa, so if you want to treat yourself well, have a relaxing time there. Also in the ground floor, there is a toilet and a sitting area with Tv.
First floor:
On the first floor, there is a very big kitchen, which is very well-equipped with dishwasher, ceramic hotplate, oven, microwave, a triple fridge and much more. In the same big room, there is a long dining table, so you can all eat together.
On the aisle from the kitchen there is a double bedroom with view to the pool area and a bathroom with a bathtub. In the other end, there is a bedroom with a double bed and a single (sofa)bed. This bedroom has a balcony with a view to the courtyard and a bathroom with bathtub.
In addition, here on the first floor, you find 2 triple room (3 single beds) and 1 double room with a double bed. All have bathrooms ensuite, two with showers and one with bathtubs. Finally, in the common area, there is an enormous sofa with seating for at least 15 persons, and a TV in a size matching this.
Second floor:
In addition to the five bedrooms on the first floor, there are seven more bedrooms on the second floor. As on first floor, there is a big common area with sofa seating for 15+ persons, and a TV. For the younger children, one of the bedrooms has been decorated, so it gives a sense of “fairy tale” and with a matching bathroom. This room has four beds. In addition, you will find 1 triple with 3 single beds, 2 triple with double bed and single bed and 3 double rooms with double beds.
The entire house has WIFI internet.

Spoil your senses and enjoy the stunning view of the mountains until late May even a few tops still with snow, accompanied by the quiet whistle of the small stream passing below the house, the birds and the bees, and in the distance the cosy bells from Eva’s cows further up the hill. All this, while the warm Catalan sun and the mountain breeze making life full of comfort.
Hall for celebrations:
Against supplement, you can rent the hall for celebrations, which is also equipped with a complete catering kitchen and freezer room. Can de Batiña is ideal for celebrations, as Eva can also offer additional accomodation in her other holiday home Cal Frexadeñas and in her apartments at Coromina. For weddings, the entrance which is a bit like a chapel is ideal for this also.
Despite the remote situation, the good and curly mountain road will take you surprisingly quickly down to the first village with several restaurants in only 15 minutes! And even the regional capital Olot with a lively town center, restaurants and weekly market is only 30 minutes away.
