Casa Vinas Grandes is situated in peaceful and green surroundings in a valley in the Osona region between the Pyrenees and Barcelona. The eight-bedroom very authentic house provides you with a private base. There are no nearby neighbours and around the house, there are several nice spots in the sun or in the shade as you prefer for relaxation.
The house has two floors. On the lower floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, a nice living room with TV and fireplace and an activity room with table tennis. There are four bedrooms sharing two bathrooms. There are two double room and two triple rooms and two extra beds possible. On the upper floor, there is another fully equipped kitchen, another living room and four double rooms sharing 2 bathrooms and with two extra beds possible.
Outside, there is a court yard with barbecue, perfect for outside dining. Also there is a terrace in level with the upper floor, if you prefer to dine with a view. The swimming pool is very special. Instead of building a traditional swimming pool, Joan and Alicia decided to make a swimming pool, which to a greater extend matches the house and the history. Therefore, the swimming pool has been made with rocks and with a small fountain circulating the water. It is very big (9 x 8 meters), and works like a usual swimming pool.
The surroundings are perfect for walks or excursions on mountain bikes (we can help with rental also electric bikes) and it is also easy to visit the regional capitol Vic with its market Tuesdays and Saturdays. You can also visit Barcelona or just drop down to the local bakery in the village for fresh croissants for the breakfast…
The friendly owners Tina and Kim also live on the property. You are always welcome to contact them if you need help and advice, but they will of course give you full privacy, and all facilities shown in pictures, etc. are for your exclusive use only.
In relation to weekly bookings in July and August, please note that the house is rented out on a weekly basis from Mondays (17:00) - Sundays (18:00). The weekly price applies for this period.
