Large holiday house in private setting with large garden and swimming pool

Masia Plana de Novarra is a large and spacious villa with room for the 20 people. It fits perfectly for multiple families (or one very large) on holiday together. Furthermore, it is located in scenic surroundings on the top of a hill, so you can enjoy a great view in almost every direction with thePyrenees rising in the north.

The garden, pool area and terrace is really a big plus and will enhance your holiday. Firstly, there is a large swimming pool with a size of 55 m2, which will be a great joy for everyone in the holiday group. There are stairs into the water. For safety reasons, the pool is fenced and you can overlook it from the terrace, which is a nice thing if there are small children with you on holiday.

The covered terrace lies by the house and it is the perfect place to cook and enjoy the homemade dinner. There is a great BBQ grill and two long dining tables that you can put together.
There is also a garden area with lots of trees and sitting areas where you can find shady places to relax. Just below, there is a new football and basket field, where you can play all kinds of ball games. There are also table tennis and swings in the garden.

On the ground floor houses a huge, well-equipped kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, coffee maker, stove, two dishwashers, microwave and other necessary utensils. In addition, there is direct access to the large terrace. Try enjoying the dinner outside in the warm evening hours! Otherwise, there is a long table inside with space for up to 22 people.
There is a large living room with sofa area and flat-screen TV, billiards and table football. There is also a small bedroom with bunk beds and a bathroom with shower on the ground floor.

Almost all the bedrooms are on the first floor. There are 10 double rooms in total, where some of them have balconies and lovely views. Eight of the ten bedrooms have double beds, while two of them have two single beds, which you can arrange as you wish.
There are six modern bathrooms in the holiday home.

Masia Plana de Novarra lies in an area well suited for walks. There is a short, pleasant walk of 2 km down to the nearest village, where the owners have a restaurant. There is 7 km to the next town, where you can shop groceries and likewise. You can reachBarcelona in 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour entre amis. La maison est fonctionnelle et paisible.
L'extérieur est magnifique. Nous avosn eu du beau temps et avons pu profiter de la piscine. La seule chose c'est que 2 chambres sont vraiment très minuscules et ne conviennent pas pour des adultes.
La propriétaire de la maison est très gentille et toujours prête à aider en cas de besoin. Il faut juste communiquer avec Google translation pour pouvoir se comprndre.

We had a very pleasant stay with friends. The house is functional and peaceful.
The exterior is magnificent. We had good weather and were able to enjoy the swimming pool. The only thing is that 2 rooms are really very tiny and not suitable for adults.
The owner of the house is very kind and always ready to help when needed. You just need to communicate with Google translation to be able to understand each other.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour une maison en pleine nature, avec beaucoup d'activités à disposition et un cadre et une vue très agréable. Une très grande piscine dont on a pu profité.
l'odeur des animaux peut gêner les personnes à odorat sensible.
La literie de certains lits doubles est à améliorer.
Et quelques éléments comme un aspirateur,des produits ménagers,un fer à repasser, des casseroles ,ne seraient pas de trop...
Mais cela reste un très agréable séjour dans cette maison.

We had an excellent stay in a house surrounded by nature, with lots of activities available and a very pleasant setting and view. A very large swimming pool which we were able to enjoy.
the smell of animals can bother people with a sensitive sense of smell.
The bedding of some double beds needs to be improved.
And a few things like a vacuum cleaner, household products, an iron, pots, wouldn't be too much...
But it remains a very pleasant stay in this house.

Superbe location avec de nombreuses activités possibles pour les enfants et aucun voisinage. La maison est plutôt bien agencée.
Nous avons eu un problème avec la piscine et le gérant est tout de suite intervenu. Il est très gentil et facilement joignable.
Les seuls points négatifs sont les odeurs provenant de la ferme porcine proche de la location ainsi que les mouches.
Nous recommandons tout de même vivement cette location qui a un très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Superb location with many possible activities for children and no neighbors. The house is quite well laid out.
We had a problem with the pool and the manager intervened right away. He is very kind and easily contactable.
The only negative points are the smells coming from the pig farm close to the rental as well as the flies.
We still highly recommend this rental which has a very good quality/price ratio.

Nous avons adoré la semaine passée dans cette merveilleuse villa. Elle présente beaucoup activités au sein même pour ne pas s’ennuyer. Le cadre est idéal et pour strictement aucun voisinage, de quoi profiter pleinement de celle-ci. Le seul point négatif c’est sa localisation, elle est très caché de tout et il faut faire une vingtaine de minutes pour accéder à une « grande » ville.

We loved last week in this wonderful villa. It presents a lot of activities within itself so as not to be bored. The setting is ideal and for strictly no neighborhood, what to enjoy
fully of it. The only negative point about the location is that it is a bit far from everything, about twenty minutes to access a "big" city.

We had a lovely holiday at Masia Plana de Novarra. It was beautifully clean and there were more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms for our party to choose from. The views and surroundings were amazing, as were the facilities available inside and outside. The pool was enjoyed by everyone, as was the pool table, football/basketball court and brick built BBQ. The small farmyard animals at the bottom of the garden were a big hit with the younger members of our party, as was the very good Wifi with the older ones!

We did have to pay a Catalan tax of 7 Euros per adult (children were free) on arrival, and we were also asked for a 600 Euro cash deposit which we weren't aware of. It would have been good to know this beforehand.

One thing to consider is the remoteness of the villa. It does take around 20 minutes to reach Vic, the nearest largest town, for a Carrefour or Lidl supermarket and there's also a market there on a Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. The nearest water park is an hour and a half away and go-karting around 45 minutes.

The only thing that affected our holiday was the unpleasant noises that came from the nearby pig farm. We did raise this with Jordi, the house manager, and he kept in regular contact with us via WhatsApp. This was much appreciated.

We would definitely return to Masia Plana de Novarra

This villa was amazing from the beginning totally spotless when we arrived. The rooms beautiful set up. The views were breath taking! The pictures don’t do the villa justice. Would definitely be booking again.
