Casa Pontvendra is an excellent holiday home, located 9 kilometers above the town of Berga at an altitude of 1,500 meters, and is an excellent choice for those who love mountainous surroundings and a brisk walk and for families with children, where the property offers plenty of activity opportunities and entertainment.
Casa Pontvendra is the loveliest country property with space for 26+ people, divided into the three apartments Gran, Pallissa and Cobert. It is thus the perfect place if you are a larger group who would like to spend a holiday together, but also appreciate the opportunity to retreat a little.
At the same time, the size of the property offers fantastic opportunities for a wonderful holiday, regardless of whether you are the type who spends the holiday in or by the pool, the type who likes to compete a little with table tennis, table football or billiards, or the active type who likes a hike or maybe even a bike ride.
The property is so large that it has its own three hiking trails, which are nicely marked in three colors and connect you with some of the many local hiking trails that explore the many fantastic views the surrounding mountains offer. By bike you have the opportunity to climb the local "Alpe d'Huez", as the nearby mountain road is the test of strength for the local cyclists to the "Rasos de Peguera"
In Casa Pontvendra, the children can get close to the animals. In the paddock they can feed the two donkeys and the pony, and in the garden there are chickens, most often in the chicken coop, but sometimes they also just walk around in the bushes. The super-sweet owners Jordi and Constanca also live on the farm, and are always available, but of course also respect your privacy.
The huge property is situated on a slope, so Jordi and Constanca have access to their terrace and garden behind the house, while the three holiday homes face the garden area with all the facilities seen in the pictures.
Palissa:
Located on the ground floor, the apartment has a double room with a double bed, a double room with single beds and a three-bed room with single beds. In addition, there are 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room with dining table and sofa corner and a breathtaking view of the mountains from the large panoramic windows. Relax on the sofa and enjoy the view with a delicious drink in hand - in good, Catalan fashion!
Cobert:
The apartment is on the first floor and consists of a double room with 1 double bed, a double room with 2 single beds and a wooden bed room with single beds. In addition, there are 2 bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room with a dining table and sofa corner and a mesmerising view of the Pyrenees. The view from the windows is wonderful, at all times of the day – morning, noon, evening and night.
El Gran:
The large apartment "Casa Grande" in the main house and has a large terrace overlooking the property and with the Pyrenees rising in the background. This apartment has four double rooms, three of them with double beds, as well as a four-bed room with four single beds. The first part of the apartment is divided into a living room with a view, a very authentic dining room and a large kitchen with, among other things, a dishwasher and washing machine.
The property is a paradise for children. The house has a fenced swimming pool, a fenced football pitch and a building with table football, billiards and table tennis. On the first floor of this building there is also a projector and DVD so you can watch movies. When the house is rented together, you can also choose to eat together here, as there is a large wooden table, or you can eat in "El Gran".
